Probably the combination of the resolution more usual for a 30" monitor, combined with the 10.1" form factor of this display :-\

I suspect that Apple asked Samsung to make a 9.7" version with this resolution, but they couldn't produce them (yet), or didn't want to, to get an angle on the iPad with their own tablet. (But that didn't stop them before, AFAICS)

You could contact your ISP and explain your problem? Can be a network issue on their side.

Have not seen this issue, neither with FF3 nor FF4. Haven't tried with other browsers, I try to avoid them.

Is there some way to stop this (only does it with heuristics turned on)?
Upload to VirusTotal and/or Jotti, and report the results to Kaspersky, so they can fix this false positive.

One piece of software I would love to find is  a meter and syllable counter for help me with keeping my poetry in check.
I haven't seen that feature with the suggested apps so far, but I could have overlooked, so it could probably be a nice improvement suggestion to both WriteMonkey and ImmersEd.

FWIW, I'd leave Q10 alone, WriteMonkey has the same and better features, and is actively developed.

@wraith808: That all makes perfectly good sense.

so again, why is it special?
A few more thoughts:
  • They (MS) explicitly don't want you to do this
  • You could exchange the int? by Int32 and get a pointer to that

@cthorpe : That site is, though a bit full, very clear in it's intentions, a relief to read it, thanks for the pointer! Oh, and a useful writers tool indeed :)

Read another software tip in a magazine today: ImmersEd from www.tajuta.com, that seems to extend the uncluttered writing environment with a few nifty gadgets, that can be helpful when writing, gotta start testing though.

Like 40hz said, there are tons of tools...

General Software Discussion / Re: Windows equivalent to GNOME's typing break?
« Last post by Ath on May 07, 2011, 03:29 PM »
Well, besides Workrave, that's rather configurable IMHO, so can be as lightweight as you want, there's the commercial Workpace, and it also has a few nifty features like counting the number of keyboard- and mouse-clicks, and is as configurable as Workrave. (I've used both in the past, but stopped using tools like that; just listen better to what the old body says, and take more breaks/stops).

But Instant Boss, by our 'own' App103, sounds just as what you need, indeed, +1

There's this blog article from around when nullable types where introduced (.NET 2.0), that has some more interesting info

And also this blog post that puts a claim around my original assumption... (I did not check these claims/examples though)

I've done no research on the subject, though I've done some stuff, including nullable types, in C#. But not in this direction. Nevertheless...

I kind of assume you read this msdn subject explaining nullable types?
It states:
T can be any value type including struct; it cannot be a reference type

This makes me suspect the actual implementation is something handled at compile-time, so pointers for getting at it won't exist during runtime?

Looking at SQLite, have you investigated the SQLite endorsed ADO.Net provider?

I especially like the headline message on the site:
This is a fork of the popular ADO.NET 2.0 adaptor for SQLite known as System.Data.SQLite. The originator of System.Data.SQLite, Robert Simpson, is aware of this fork, has expressed his approval, and has commit privileges on the new Fossil repository. The SQLite development team intends to maintain System.Data.SQLite moving forward.
(Emphasis added)

The phxsoftware.com's version seems to have stopped progressing

Games explorer notices eight of them
Problem here is that games have to register with Games Explorer, during install usually, to be noticed by GE, so it's not directly GE's 'fault', IMHO :o

I'm not a writer (yet) but had a short look at both writing tools mentioned, q10 and WriteMonkey.
Seems like q10 is kinda dead, in the development part.
WriteMonkey seems to be alive and kicking, and has somewhat better/more/cleaner features, so I'll have a longer look at it during this summer. Hope to report here later.

Sure, the 'frontpage' of the forum, bottom of the page, here's a sample of just now:
