With that in mind, think i'll give CF another look.
The creator of SyncPlaces really expresses well my feelings with regards to Mozilla and recent changes in Firefox.
I've been trying to adjust to Australis but i really do find myself more "cornered" so to speak.
It's a similar sensation to when i use Google Chrome (or any Chrome based browser).-dantheman (August 04, 2014, 07:52 AM)
Just gave Cyberfox a spin - at first it looked spiffy but after syncing with Mozilla, everything just went quirky and toolbars were out of order. I have about 20 addons with Firefox that work just fine there. Don't feel like going through a tedious process of elimination with Cyberfox.-dantheman (August 03, 2014, 07:40 PM)
A quote I read somewhere recently:

I conducted a fun (and very telling experiment) with MSE a couple months ago. I took an external hard drive and filled it with all sorts of 'sketchy' stuff...lots of viruses, trojans, malware, pupware, cracks and keygens.
MSE detected every single crack and keygen on the drive. Every other file MSE triumphantly declared as being clean. This should tell you what Microsoft's focus is when it comes to their 'security' software.-Innuendo (August 02, 2014, 06:34 PM)

You mean like when a bank forecloses? Yeah, you don't actually own your home until you have finished paying the bank for it, plus interest. In essence, as long as you still have a mortgage, you are renting the house from the bank, who is the real owner.-app103 (August 01, 2014, 08:25 PM)
Saffron seems to doing better today.. she seems much more herself. Keep the positive thoughts coming.-mouser (August 01, 2014, 03:27 PM)

This kind of "evolution" is actively encouraged by distributors though.-Tuxman (July 31, 2014, 06:01 AM)

Good luck using a Windows style editor when your X won't start and you'll have to fix config files on the terminal when you never dug into vi/Vim or similar editors.-Tuxman (July 31, 2014, 05:42 AM)

The thing with Vim is that it requires you are willing to spend the time and effort to learn to work entirely differently than you are used to.-Jibz (July 30, 2014, 02:58 AM)
