I have completed it 1.5 times and thought it was a bit too grindy for my tastes, but I highly recommend that anyone plays through it at least once

Living Room / Elite Forces Defense, another hero TD

http://www.kongregat...elite-forces-defense

Elite Forces Defense is a Tower Defense game where you take the role of a "hero" unit while you place down towers. Its a bit similar to toy town defense in that regard. But various towers upgrade your abilities
Try it out

It's okay, but a little too similar to desktop defense to be all that different.

He went to bed already? Gosh, mom must've been on his back :P

Sounds like the game is pretty rough around the edges... is it supposed to be focusing on large epic battles, teamwork, ... ? - the fact that it's persistent sounds very interesting, I was a bit disappointed with WOW, I thought it was going to feature stuff like "game masters" that could whip up quests on the fly, that you'd be able to buy houses, etc etc etc.

Well, the game focuses around battlegrounds where you use your boosterpack earned units to fight it out. Even with the max amount of "Control Points" the battles won't be epic in scale unless you play guild warfare(Guild warfare/real pvp = Paying for the game). So its more of a tactical game rather that strategy on the level I am guessing we will play. But I agree the interface is confusing to start out with and the tutorial is lacking. But I kinda like the game. The booster packs give a quick start but you are able to earn units with ingame currency. But it will take quite a bit of time to get the amount of units that 10 booster packs can give. I am willing to help anyone through the early game if they want. Just hit me up on xfire, my account name is "p3lb0x".

I am also pretty sure that you can play missions in 2 player Co-op if anyone want some help

Edit: Also if no one noticed the 10 free booster pack offer from Gaotd is no longer available

Mini-Reviews by Members / Psychonauts
« Last post by p3lb0x on February 03, 2008, 08:53 AM »
Psychonauts, one of the weirdest games I have played EVER.

In Psyconauts you play the rule of Rasputin or Raz as he calls himself. Raz is a psychic with alot of talent but no training so he runs away from home to go to a summer camp for psychics. But shortly after hes arrival weird stuff begin to happen, and its up to Raz to save the day.

Raz acquires such skills as pyrokenises, telekineses, clairvoyance and levitation through hes travels.
He will be using these powers to battle such monsters as: telekinetic bears, Pyrokinetic cougars, the lungfish military, a fat super hero and squirrels.

Psychonauts is a mix of puzzle solving, platforming and action. The gameplay might be a bit repetitive and boring after a while but the dark humor in the game is on the same level as portal's. I highly recommend this game to anyone with an evolved sense of humor. I will provide some pictures to show the weirdness of the game

The only problems with this game is the slow start and the fact that once you get one of the better weapons its almost impossible to lose

Great! I was referring to the Japanese lang. version with English subs, BTW. There is a version dubbed in English but I don't know how well the impact of the original voice actors would carry through there. I've modified my original post to reflect this.

I have watched the movie and i agree its a most watch (cant remember which version i saw)
