Gah, my apologies.  Here's a fixed version:

I'm finding that trans has a mind of its own :D
x=c y=c is not fool proof randomly loads 1 or 2 pics as half offset right from C and bottom.

Hmmm, I worked really hard to make that work properly with any monitor resolution and any multi-monitor layout.  If you can reproduce the error reliably, let me know.

Has a crash load of 175 imgs prog puked without crashing win with it. (I was torturing it(best was 189) my be hardware dependant.

Are you saying you simultaneously loaded 175 separate instances of Frameless?  :o  If so, I'll take that as a win, thanks. :D

Unfortunately, I can't add the guarantee since that particular app just uses simple MCI SoundPlay functionality.  In other words, unless the user has installed the codec for a given file type, there really is no guarantee that the given file will play.  As a comparison, my Trout music player uses the BASS library for playback and will play back music files whether you have the installed codecs or not.  At any rate, I'm glad sWavPlayer is working for you.   :D

Hi, antekgla, and welcome to the site.  Here you go:

The "F1 for help" issue could be taken care of with a bit of AuotHotkey script.  However, now that I think about it, another option might be to use a dedicated CHM editor to modify the actual CHM file.  One drawback I can think of would be that you'd have to re-do everything if the software you're using the CHM file with gets an update (and comes with an updated CHM file).  Follow me?

Since it appears you're already very familiar with PDF-XChange, it might be easier to simply convert your CHM files to PDF and continue using PDF-XChange (or another smaller, leaner PDF editor).

You can try passing an MP3 file to it.  If you have the appropriate MP3 codecs installed on your box, it should play.  No guarantees, though.

What might be cool, as an idea, would be a sort of time-lapse video of code being written, tested, etc. with the final shot being the resulting application.

Welcome to the site, WillieCee, and thanks for the feedback.  Your L/C/R and T/C/B idea is a really good one so I've implemented it in the latest build (along with the ability to specify which monitor to use when using these new parameters).  I'll pass for now on the fade-in request.   :D

Website | Download
v1.0.6 - 2011-09-09
    + Added ability to use L, C, or R for the "x" coordinate and T, C, or B for
the "y" coordinate.  This corresponds to Left, Center and Right for "x"
and Top, Center and Bottom for "y."  For instance, you can now use these
options to automtically position an image in the bottom right corner or
to center an image on your screen.  (Thanks, WillieCee)
+ Added "mon" parameter for use with the above L/C/R and T/C/B options.
This will allow you to specify which monitor to position the image on e.g.,
      c:\path\to\Frameless.exe "c:\path\to\image.jpg" x=C y=C mon=2
It has no effect if you manually specify the "x" or "y" coordinates.

it could just protect them somehow - like scrambling/encrypting the contents

If you want to do that, you should be using something like TrueCrypt to begin with.

I meant it more in a sense of: "Just because you delete something doesn't mean it's gone."  Nothing more.

Er, I am talking about PC playback *through* an HDTV. A good PC player is actually far more accurate and controllable as far as color, gamma, gamut, conversion bit depth, rendering methods, etc, etc. than any blu-ray player is. As long as you have it setup right and sending the signal through HDMI to a good flat panel display, you're golden.

I'll concur with that.  Blu-Ray rips played back on my 42" HDTV plasma look phenomenal.

IMO, there really isn't much difference between this and the fact that you can usually easily recover "deleted" files from a hard drive, the Windows Recycle Bin, etc.

I'd like to think that some task management apps let you set up a sort of recurring profile that would allow you to easily do what you want because the chances of you finding an app that automatically does exactly what you want are very slim.  You're either going to have to do a bit of manual work in an existing program or write your own.

Making that slider work in realtime is easy.  However, it chewed up so much CPU that I chose not to implement it.  If you want to approximate it, just use the up and down keys once you focus that slider.
