I tried Escape - didn't work; didn't try the Enter button. Alt-Tab wouldn't work; once explorer.exe freezes nothing displayed will respond, unfortunately.Could you get the task manager? Often, in that situation, ending the process 'explorer.exe' and launching another instance fom File/New Task (Run...) will dig you out of the hole. He doesnt actually say how long it took the dog to adapt but certainly sounded a lot quicker than the average humanOne of mine became blind at about 11 years old. It didn't take her long to adapt... a couple of months.
