Last night we rescued a (appx.) 20 month old Rottweiler who is not very well.  We think she was from a puppy farm and has been kicked onto the streets.

She is very thin, and lethargic and still lactating.  The vet said she gave birth no more than 3 weeks ago which means the litter possibly died.

However, even beyond all that, she is very loving, and has a great little attitude on her and shes getting on OK with Munch (my 10 month old Bull Mastiff X Rottweiler).

Here she is!

How can I still talk with you with you people if you condone even appluad killing a person, even more so killing without trial? I mean where is justice without a justice?

I am so sad, I don't know what to do. This used to be the nicest forum in the world. But right now I find it more and more repulsive. This is actually the fifth attempt trying to express my feelings in a more or less coherent way.

Should I ragequit? Should I speak up in that forum? Should I stfu&gtfo?

Is this still my forum?

I go cry now...

Oh, im sorry, When I started that topic, I misunderstood the meaning of "Forum"

For your information...just so we are all clear:

fo·rum/ˈfôrəm/Noun
1. A meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.

There...now that is out of the way, I can get things straight about the topic in question...

Firstly, OBL was an asshole who murdered HIS OWN PEOPLE and CIVILIANS...I hear people crying about things such as "He should have been made to stand trial"...hmm...hold on a moment...you want to spend MORE of YOUR money, doing stuff that will INEVITABLY make him be put to DEATH?...We know it...YOU know it...HE WAS GOING TO DIE...

Sometimes...this is all that needs to happen...bad people, who do bad things, need to be removed...enough time, enough money, and enough loss has been given to finding and destroying this monster...now thats happened...and I for one, am very very very happy about it...

If people want to start bitching and moaning about p[eople having views and opinions of their own...then it is my personal opinion that they shouldnt be on a forum that allows free speech...and possibly move to a country where freedom, free speech, and any other things you take for granted...are removed by force...

DonationCoder is all about freedom of speech...we can see this by the lack of action in regards to another forum member here in a recent fight where several members have left the forum due to the fight.  If people want to get pissy about it...then leave...does anybody honestly care anymore?

Until some members on this forum realise that this is a PUBLIC FORUM (See above for definition) then I will no longer be partaking in conversations here.

Grow Up...Wake Up...

Now they should make a study about writing in such a way :)

If I remember correctly, this method of writing actually originated from a study done in a university in the UK.

Don't quote me on that, but im pretty sure it did

As for the unraveling argument, I think there's a little bit of an irrational fear there.  People who prefer under look at the over orientation and think "Man, that looks unstable!  It's going to unravel!  Oh no!!"  But it's really not anywhere near that bad.  I just think, practically speaking, over wins every time.

I have cats.  Over loses sometimes.

I have a puppy that like to get up to all sorts of trouble...hence why i prefer the under method

Also...It looks much tidier  8)

On the topic of brands, I prefer Andrex (Dunno if its called the same outside the UK) - The Shea Butter one is so soooooft! - The Aloe Vera stuff is also good, but not my prefered lol, they also have chocolate, but I saw it and thought "eww"

Side note:

It seems TierraNet still own the domain.  To me, this looks like they have simply parked the domain to make some cash from it.

Unfortunatly, this type of thing happens every minute of every day.  Due to the charity making requests to purchase it, VWNames.com will have picked up on this, and instead of taking a moment to realise this was a charities domain, they have simply picked up on the fact that it was an active domain, that had traffic, and could indeed make them money.

The company in question will have automatically purchased it (Possibly using backorder) the very second it became publicly available.

'Snatching' is very common, however, the host 'Tierra.net' should (But are not legally bound) to offer the domain back to the charity...this would have been the logical thing to do...however, they could also argue that the charity should have placed a backorder on the domain.

Perhaps making a request to VWNames.com to release the domain (At perhaps even a small profit to them (10% over purchase price)) will get them to release it.

Oh just close it already lol
-Stephen66515 (April 21, 2011, 07:00 PM)

I might not see the LOL part in it. But I think I'm pretty much in agreement with the rest of Stephen's comment to wit: "...just close it already."

 :)

The "lol" was mainly because I didn't feel like this matter needed as much discussion as it has received.  Closing it now would be the fastest and simplest approach to things.  DC is not about complaining about 3rd party companies, its about Creating custom software, and donationware and being open to the public.  Rants and Complaints can go to other forums...If required, i'm sure someone on DC would be willing to set one up   8)
