Huge Bummer :(

I've done similar things.
My registration came in an email,BTW,a code.

Here is the knowledge base article to deal with lost keys on ritlabs webpage.
http://www.ritlabs.c.../idx/44/068/article/

Dig through this as well
http://www.ritlabs.com/en/support/

But looking at this

Might make you feel doomed :(

For such a hefty price, ritlabs should provide better support.I feel your pain man and wish you the best.

I know i'm already preaching to the quire, but just say no to executables,i.e. .exe .scr,etc. And set your email client

Media Player Classic will play .swf
http://fileforum.bet..._2000XP/1045531002/1

FLVplayer will play .flv files
http://www.martijnde...e/flv-player-updated

Both are freeware

You can actually configure (in the options tab) url snooper to launch a non-default browser i.e. download manager.
I use Net Transport but i've been hearing good things about gigaget http://www.gigaget.com/,which basically does
the same thing.I highly recommend complimenting urlsnooper with a download manager that can download streams.

What's the Best? / Re: Anti-Virus Package
« Last post by tinyvillager on March 02, 2006, 05:16 PM »
I just recently switched from F-Prot to Nod32 and i'm very pleased with the change. While i had no software conflicts with f-prot the updates would take forever. For some reason the signature files would be in the range of 1- 2mb.When
i switched to nod32 it's more like 200-300 kb.Another thing with f-prot  that i can't put my finger on, maybe it was the
background monitering, i don't know, it really slowed down the reaction of my menus,i.e. start menu.

www.newsvine.com
It's invite only right now but rumor has it, it's set to go public any day now.
It has a digg.com kind of function as where it encourages self published news and voting on stories.
It also has some nice features i have only began to toy around with...

I have a few more screenshots here

Activation/License/Language Help / Re: URLSnooper doesn't work for me.
« Last post by tinyvillager on February 27, 2006, 12:01 AM »
I googled around a bit and found a support discussion that might be usefull

http://www.winpcap.o...005-July/000163.html

This is the site that of winpcap, that mouser bundles with urlsnooper with btw.
http://www.winpcap.org/

Their support stuff is on their contact page http://www.winpcap.org/contact.htm

Other than that all i can say  is make sure you do an absolute clean install.
Remember that in the windows add/remove control panel Urlsnooper AND winpcap are given separate entries.

Make sure the folders are deleted in the program folder.

Your no adware software might be trying to act as some sort of firewall too,i know sunbelt's anti-spyware tries
to be about a half a dozen applications in one, alot of security programs are going this route which is a shame.

P.S.
On a security sidenote, don't worry about winpcap or urlsnooper,it's clean.
I use urlsnooper all the time.Microsoft's Anti-Spyware program(or defender or whatever they call it now)once gave me a false positive on winpcap, and that's exactly what is was a false positive.

General Software Discussion / Software with odd or insane license plans.

This might be the best graphics editor ever,i don't know. But this is the first i've seen of a 6 months license on a desktop application.I'm sorry but i think this is so wrong it's pethetic.I don't know, depending on the application i'm
also against an annual subscription fee, better be pretty special and frequently updated and good customer support
if you want my annual fee.Like i said,i don't know the company, people, and never tried the app and never would with
subscription license plans like these, just my honest opinion.

The program is called TwistedBrush
Check out the plans

The Icon feature can be a hard feature to meet.

That being said, and these are all free btw,Photofiltre,http://www.photofiltre.com/ can export to icon and i believe can
read an icon file and it's light weight.Inscape works with Vector graphics and has presets for icons that makes it easy
or easier to work with those 16 by 16 icons used for favicons.Artweaver doesn't meet the icon requests just yet,but
it's light on the resources and worth keeping an eye on.Pain.Net  doesn't meet the icon request either, but it's a nice
replacement for MSPaint.

I don't know, seeing a little customized google map tucked away in the corner might be neat.
Yeah i know what you mean about IRC,but i've heard of people making AJax applications that
simulate google talk.Just looking at the site preferences, very impressive.Having every site
costomized to your specification is pretty sweet.I like the eye candy tab thumbnails.Opera
spends alot of freakin time on development but it shows in the end.Even though it's called
a preview i bet they'll release a final pretty soon.
295
So far so good when it comes to regular surfing the internet.I hate the (AJAX)Widgets.I guess it will depend on what
one finds usefull though,to each it's own.It seems to me their either glorified graphic rss feeds or silly apps like calculaters and clocks,i hold out faith someone will hack up a google map or Chat Client, lack of substance aside the
widgets are cumbersome, you should be able to bookmark them to bring them up individually, hard to express in
words but they have it rigged up where you can tack one to the screen while making the other invisible,it's annoying.

In my opinion this Menu should expand into the widget you want to show ,instead of just show widgets

General Software Discussion / Re: Gmail Adds New Chats Feature
« Last post by tinyvillager on February 07, 2006, 03:04 AM »
Thinking outloud...

It would be neat to see a feature in Google Talk where you click on a contact and are able to share the files he or she has on their Gmail Account, the files they want to share of course.Given the 2+ Gigs gmail offers, this would probably bring the
entire internet to a crawl and piracy would run rampit, but hey it would be a nice feature, maybe a coding snack? ;D

General Software Discussion / Gmail Adds New Chats Feature
« Last post by tinyvillager on February 07, 2006, 01:36 AM »
Source:http://mail.google.com/mail/help/chat.html

Just saw this over on digg
http://www.digg.com/...ds_New_Chats_Feature

        Cut and Paste....
    *  Add contacts and invite your friends to chat from Quick Contacts
    * See when your friends are online
    * Set your status to busy, sleepy, angry or whatever. Even sneezy.
    * Get Google Talk to make free voice calls too. It's completely synchronized with Quick Contacts
    * Go off the record when you're chatting so nothing gets saved to anyone's Gmail account

I Barely use either,Google Talk or Gmail (fell in love with fastmail.fm;ftp support is freakin sweet)these days but it's inovative, none the less.

Hmm,just noticed they changed the logo too,Gmail talk "beta"

Thought maybe i'd pend it to this thread, don't know...

Microsoft has a new launch bar...groupbar
http://research.micr...m/vibe/groupbar.aspx

"GroupBar requires no installation - just download the executable (GroupBar.exe) and run it. (Put in in your start-up group to run it automatically on start-up.)   Note: creating Snapshots with the GroupBar produces .gss files in the same folder as GroupBar.exe, so save it in its own folder if you would like to avoid cluttering up other folders.   GroupBar requires no uninstallation either - simply delete GroupBar.exe and any Snapshot (.gss) files it has created, and it is gone."

P.S.

There's an Internal
http://msrweb/vibe/groupbar/install.aspx<-get a 404 on that one

And an external
http://research.micr.../research/downloads/

I'm confused
