Come on DC members.  Post a comment and possibly when a great application.

Camtasia is a great tool.  I have created some videos tutorials using it and going from 0 to a published, completed video took no time at all.

Thanks for posting this mouser!

I hope to see a lot of DC members leaving comments.

I kinda like this PodCast and its format around technology:

Could be a good guide for what DC's podcast should be.

(good quality and interesting to listen to)

(UM is referring to Veign's Usage Monitor, and it popped up that many times (5) while typing this because MiniBrowse is now using 52MB (50 was the alert limit). It helps immensely :) (I'm forgetful))

Glad its useful to you.

Something you may be interested in is my Usage Monitor.  Lets you tracks processes and set alerts as you look for memory leaks.  I created this to help remove memory leaks in applications I was developing.

General Software Discussion / Re: Online Services

Two services that stand out for me:

(1) Gmail, and
(2) our own Veign's webware.

Don't forget my Online Development Tools (which is growing).

And thanx for the nod.

  • The ability for me to mark a thread as always read.
This I like.  Reason is there are threads that I may have posted a passing thought in but no longer want to follow.  It would be nice to not have it appear in my New Replies to My Post section.  Marking it as always read would handle that.

Hi there I just joined to let you all know that BTD3 has just been launched exclusive to Ninja Kiwi. Would love to know your thoughts!

If its anything like any of your other games (including Bloons 1 and 2) I'm sure it will be great.  Will be checking it out later tonight.

Another idea for The Great Software List is a OS independent version which highlights online applications.  Just a thought as I feel more and more applications will move online, especially when offline data synchronizers (like Google Gears) becomes easier to develop for and more widely used.

Pretty cool video.

I remember the contest in Sad Diego called 'Whirl 'til You Hurl' where the contestants rode one of San Diego's big wooden roller coasters trying to win $50K.  After 10 Weeks (yes, 10 weeks) they still had 5 people not wanting to give up.

Crazy what people will do for a prize.

General Software Discussion / Re: IE8 Beta 1 coming soon
« Last post by Veign on August 29, 2008, 10:43 AM »
***Warning***

IE8 Beta 2 will break Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail.  This release is very buggy.

From the release notes:
"Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 and Windows Live Mail are currently incompatible. If you install Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2, Windows Live Mail will crash when you create or reply to an e-mail message. No workaround is currently available."

Oh, and if you point your browser over to http://wreckedcarzz.wikidot.com/, there is a nice little preview of the upcoming successor to Crayons n Markers (previously KidDraw) ;) It is actually coming out quite nicely, there are a few things I want to correct and whatnot, and a lot of things to be added, but right now it is a nice little Paint replacement.

Check the link above...
