customizing the menu is something i would like to add, it's on my todo list.
That would be a nice addition, different workspaces for various tasks.

the main point is being able to show a full page on the screen and read it comfortably
You have to look beyond the obvious and consider the potential... ;)

One other thing I've noted regarding Firefox, (this I'm also trying to pin down, I think it's add-on related)
I'm starting to think the computer is haunted  :(
I'm fairly sure mine is haunted. The only times it goes seriously wrong are those when I must have it right now for some project that brings in revenue.
Long ago I realized that the only worthwhile back-up is a redundant machine or three.

And a Happy New Year to all our readers!

 :D

I've narrowed it down to either Thunderbird 3 or Firefox 3.5+.
Interesting. FWIW I've recently had some freezes. Don't use Thunderbird, do use FF 3.5

Ahem! There's no place on DC for such a sizeist attitude, what about big users?

I appreciate the sentiment but I hate the idea of "marketing" anything..
I have to agree. Without wanting to be offensive, the original post had me backpedalling a little.
I'm all for marketing in the right place (I make my living at it) but the term seems out of step with DC.
That sounds like nit-picky semantics, and I greatly admire zridling's contributions here, but it can be hard to expunge an impression.

Killed the FSubscript stuff, downloaded from your first-post link and extracted to FarrSpell -- no problem.

Works well.
I was expecting the web look-up to appear within FARR so it took me a few moments to wake up to the fact that another tab had appeared in my browser.
Be nice if one could choose the web look-up site.
Be nicer still if it would call my online OED
Be nice when the dictionary knows how to spell. At the moment it seems to use some strange tongue called...  American!

The updater appears to have put this new version into a subfolder called FSubscript, while leaving the previous version in FarrSpell, which made for an entertaining few minutes.

y0himba, you've taken quite a bit of trouble to entertain us with this, so thank you!

I didn't realize that a 'donation' resulted in booty, I was just in for the fun of it.
Anyone living in the U.S.A. (to keep things simple for y0himba) is welcome to my share if y0himba doesn't mind that --

you have large mode result mode.
So what do I set to get a numbered list of synonyms as in your example, rather than a list in parentheses?

This will be a plugin for Find and Run Robot to help people who quickly need to spell a word or look up synonyms.
Will this be an adjunct to your forthcoming ICCPIPRICR?

Hopefully you'll get a few nice surprises under the tree (or in the garage!)
We're a bit long in the tooth for under the tree, and it's -20 in the garage. Swinging from the chandelier's still good though  ;)

Not even into 2010 and my credit's dropping like a stone.
You can see how I've suffered in the space of just a a few short hours:
"Federal Credit Bureau" <files?fedcb.org> Your Credit Score has down to 571
"Federal Credit Bureau" <no-reply?fedcreditbureau.org> Your Credit Score has down to 515.
"Federal Credit Bureau" <no-reply?fedcb.org> Your Credit Score decreased to 469.
Thank goodness there are helpful scammers out there who'll relieve me of the little that remains and so end this awful problem!
