NANY 2012 RELEASE: Christian Prayer Minder

Congratulation on this fine program of yours, kyrathaba. Really impressive!

I would like to send a link to this thread, but the right margin on page 1 is being cut off, making it very hard to read. The people I want to tell, might easily give up all this scrolling in both directions, just to read the text. Do you have the patience to re-edit the images, to make the page fit a normal browser view, please?

Sorry that my previous post was so unclear in meaning. Yes, I meant what daddydave also said, Mr Tech Toolkit is replacing "Not available..." with "May be incompatible...", because everything is available when you have Mr Tech Toolkit installed, but it may not be compatible...

-the difference may have been be caused by my Mr Tech Toolkit add-on:

direct link! http://mrte.ch/toolkit Mr Tech Toolkit 6.0.4.9000 xpi add-on for Firefox 8.01
-direct link for Mr Tech Toolkit xpi addon

But as I remember it, you want to use Opera? I've found nothing except an extension for Twitter only.

-they really just should say "have not yet been officially tested with Firefox 8.01". However, on my version of the page they are saying, "May be incompatible with Firefox 8.0.1", which I think is similar. "Red letters"; is your version of the page different?

Pronounce is a firefox add-on for the same purpose.

Thank you!

Works with Firefox 8.01

Edited:
I can see on the Mozilla page that some people never figured out to first add the necessary button to their toolbar, and therefore assumed the add-on doesn't work. But it does.

General Software Discussion / Re: Meet the new FOG! Same as the old FOG?

I really wasn't aware that a normal license to FontLab is a lifetime key (of course we need to see in Real Life how they interpret "lifetime"), until I got this mail today:

New Year, New Student Pricing! (lower, of course)

We've had academic discounts for years, but students have been asking us for something better. Why should they have to buy the full lifetime license version (even at a discount) when they may use the product for only a year or two? Well we heard you. This year we're rolling out special one-year licenses for students at super discounts!

Up to 77% off!!

These new student prices are for full-featured versions of our font editors: TypeTool, Fontographer, and FontLab Studio. The exact same feature set as the lifetime license versions. The licenses are good for one year and can be renewed as long as you remain a student.

Here's the bottom line:

TypeTool
Student License Price: $23
List Price: $99

Fontographer
Student License Price: $79
List Price: $399

FontLab Studio
Student License Price: $119
List Price: $649

Happy New Year!

This song is not twelve hundred years old. I have it on a "Celtic Christmas Songs" compilation.

I fully understand why people are disappointed with the lack of support; it is an insult to the customers. Having said that, I need to repeat that I have been running AnVir for some years now and not even once has there been a problem of any kind. But of course, having also said that, I think it is one more insult that they don't tell anything about the promised 64-bits version; "Sorry we are late" would be a welcome minimum!

-I certainly expect it to be a false alarm! "Many have a lifetime key and will get a free upgrade, many do not have a lifetime key and will merely get a discount offer"

I remember why I don't have purchased a key for for xplorer2; although it looks like a normal Windows window, it isn't! Neither the Filebox eXtender button or the button from AnVir Task Manager is showing.

Wow, that was fast!

---------
I don't know what is wrong, but it is not doing it.

Info:
The files are not in the top folder itself, but placed in a number of subfolders (album folders) that I cannot name in advance.

My .bat file does not include the numbering, 1, 2, 3, but begins with del
It has no "rare" characters in the path, and no end spaces, but a space is included in the fav folder name.

Finished Programs / DONE: delete certain filetypes from fav folder
« Last post by Curt on January 03, 2012, 09:27 AM »
For several years I have been following the Same Procedure As Last Year, James over and over each and every day: I download a bunch of music, I convert the music, I delete the redundant files type by type by type, and I move the converted music to a new directory. Lately my Vista has stopped indexing my .tunebite files, and this is making the deletion tedious. Suddenly I realized that at least this deletion procedure could be done much easier if a bat or ahk file was included.

So, my request / idea is for a file to automate the deletion of all .wma, .m3u and .tunebite files in a certain directory / favourite folder including all subfolders, with just a click. The file could very well be situated in the top folder in question.

@IainB. I am glad you like it. But, ehh... please don't read something into my post that isn't there, so to speak. I don't recommend this program!!!, for the simple reason that I have never used it; I merely informed about it.  ;D

Forgive me the poor joke!   :-[

General Software Discussion / Re: any "Open in Firefox" for Chrome?
« Last post by Curt on January 02, 2012, 09:01 AM »
-thanks.

My prime reason for wanting to open in Firefox is the usefulness of the overwhelming number of add-ons and a tuned context menu - no other browser comes close - but this seems not to be the case with Mozilla Gecko Tab; it has Chrome's context menu (someone please correct me if I've misunderstood this), and to me most of the few extensions are right out silly.

hmm... I see now that I have implied you didn't pay for it. Sorry; that was not what I meant; I thought you paid -70% and now demanded to also prolong at -70%. The 70% off -discount was a "here and now"-offer, later on it is not available. Right now the price for 3 additional years is 29.95 USD. Just open you AnVir and click purchase; the link will tell the cart all it needs to know.

General Software Discussion / any "Open in Firefox" for Chrome?
« Last post by Curt on January 01, 2012, 04:40 PM »
I am all new to Google Chrome (actually I am using Comodo Dragon, but it is the same thing, just some more security, I was led to believe). My default browser is Firefox (8.01), and I am pleased it has a right-click > "Open in Chrome" in the context menu. But of course I want the similar thing in Chrome: "Open in Firefox" - in the context menu or elsewhere, anywhere! I just haven't been able to find one. Maybe it is called something I didn't imagine, so I thought I better ask you guys: Any "Open in Firefox" for Google Chrome?

I think some will find it reasonable that the discount offer for a prolonged period only is available to customers who have actually paid for the program. I would.
