Which explains the *evil laughter*

I realize that PowerPro does so many things in so many different ways it is VERY difficult to keep track of what you want to do vs. what can be done, but making a space-saving launcher is easy once you get on the right track. I've been toying with the idea of writing up a PowerPro Mini-tutorial for a few months now, maybe it's getting a bit overdue...

Nothing says Happy Holidays like a photo of sweet little toddlers screaming at Santa. A couple of years ago, the Chicago Tribune asked readers to send in their "Scared of Santa" photos. Those photos are included here, as well as additional photos sent in by SouthFlorida.com, Sun-Sentinel.com and Chicago Tribune readers in subsequent years. Enjoy!

and dont forget to give her that Huggle

Aw Geez, how could I have forgotten to say that...

Any special advice for a 39 year old man looking for a 17 year old girlfriend.

Ummm... my advice isn't THAT good. ;D (if only I'd taken my own advice when I was 17... or so...)

Seriously, 10 years of marriage has wised me up to quite a few things regarding the opposite sex (and has done the same for Her, I might add ;) )

Best wishes to you RedHat...

OK, it's been awhile since I've dated a 17-year old, but here's tried and true wisdom from an old goat to to a young buck.

What she says: I want a hug.
What she means: I want to know you are paying attention to what I find important and fulfilling and show it in a personal way without material attachments.
So get her something that reflects you have been paying attention to HER world and how you can fit into it, not distance yourself from it.
Example: Don't get her slippers if she constantly says her feet are cold and puts them on you to warm them up. She wants YOU, not some stand-in for your foot-warming capabilities. Definitely get her slippers if the cat piddled on her old favorites and she was very upset about it.

Make sure it's something that only YOU would know and should care about. Whatever you determine is the right gift, make sure her parents and friends don't have the same idea.

If she is always asking to borrow something, don't get her one for herself. Why do you think she borrows it from you?

Don't give her what she needs unless she specifically asks for it, and even then, don't make it her only gift, and worm yourself into it somehow.
Example: If she says she could really use a new coffee maker, get the machine, a couple bags of her favorite roast, a new grinder and scoop and TWO coffee mugs (hint, hint...)

Last but not least, give it with a tag attached that says "Contents: 1 Hug"

Hope this helps.

and using Linux kernel 2.4.30 to do it too!

although I could not find "icbm-launch" on SourceForge

P.S. Nuking all of Redmond as opposed to passing GPS coords for the MS campus only would perhaps be a little overkill, but I used to live there and the streets through town are pretty much a drive-thru shopping mall, so no great loss...

yeah, remember WarGames? We could add another rule...

11. NORAD ICBM launch sequences don't talk
(and BTW, NORAD is completely electronically disconnected from the outside world. You cannot pick the lock if there is no door)

Like hacking is all about taking a couple of wild guesses on a huge 36 point font, multi-coloured, 3D animated login prompt and getting it right in every movie
Right. However, hacking IS popping in a diskette of Nmap 2.54BETA25 and scanning for a vulnerable SSH Server and exploiting it with the SSH1 CRC32 exploit from 2001.

What movie did that?
Take a wild guess first
and go to the next to last item here -> http://insecure.org

Oops, they violated rule 2...

Actually when I'm in terminal mode on my Linux box at home, I have Bash configured for green on black. It takes me back to 1985 and a classroom full of Apple IIe's... :sigh:

I figured it was hairball, ...
Well... In a way it is, I suppose....  ;)

... since so many of the other words are spelled incorrectly.
after looking around for about 12 seconds WAAAYYY too long, I've surmised that is pretty much the norm at 4chan.

Eureka!

I finally found the origin of many of these images and some of the phrases so commonly found on them...
The 4chan.org image board. (specifically, "Animals & Nature")

The origin of the word "harbl" (took me awhile on this one, but found on Urban Dictionary)
This word has its origin on the 4chan imageboards, more specificially the "/b/ - Random" imageboard there. The moderators on that board sometimes install wordfilters that change certain words or phrases to other words and phrases when a post is made and much hilarity ensues. A recent example for this was when "FTW" (For The Win) was wordfiltered to "SUCKS". Similarily, at some point the word "c**k" was wordfiltered to "harbl" because the moderators got tired of the meme "I'll suck your c**k" which of course then always read "I'll suck your harbl". Since this was almost 2 years ago many newer users don't know the origin story (so to speak) and just use it as a random (pun intended) nonsense word. Most recently it has become integrated in the "I'm in ur ______ verb+ing my/your ______" meme.
A meme of which the origins can be found here:
