Screenshot Captor / Re: Post-capture "undo" ?
« Last post by mouser on March 27, 2018, 10:21 PM »
You can do ctrl-Z to undo these post capture actions, just as you request.  As for why it might not be working for you, make sure you click in the image window before you do Ctrl+Z.
You should see the status bar showing you what it is doing.

I think Arial Bold is as close to an official font.

I actually searched for "customizable" tagged coins on thingiverse (Customizable i think means openscad models), and found a bunch:

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:47484
https://www.thingive...se.com/thing:1703911

https://www.thingive...se.com/thing:2448171 <-- this one even has text around the edge(!)

In our case I'm thinking like a 2-3 inch diameter coin "base" -- with cody sitting/standing on it (glued or pegged).
So actually the center of the coin won't be too visible I guess, since cody will be on it.  But you could imagine curving at the top of the "coin" it could say DONATIONCODER.COM and curving at the bottom it would say some text that would change depending on the award, like "N.A.N.Y. 2020 AWARD" etc.

Nudone himself has started to explore the use of Blender in making a 3d cody.

Aryq maybe I could ask your eventual help in using OpenScad to make a coin base with some programmatic "text" on it, as the base of a customizable cody award?

The standard region capture mode (non-redbox) for the latest versions of Screenshot Captor, has been greatly improved.  One of the new features is you can hit digit keys 1-9 to select your favorite region sizes.

Sorry for the long delay -- if someone is still having this problem I'd like to upload a beta version to test if it's fixed.. Anyone?

Using your alias I can't reproduce the problem, so it could be something unusual..

That weird scrollbar issue can sometime occur if a program gets confused about a previous item being displayed that was wider than their was room for.. I'd appreciate any further experimenting you could do that might give me a clue as to when it happens or doesn't..

One of the things I think we may do for this fundraiser is have a list of people that donors might consider sending a direct donation to.  So if you are a coder who spends real time at donationcoder and would like to have your paypal or patreon listed, you should get that set up and message me.  If you've been thinking about setting up a patreon account, this is your excuse to go do it now.

Martin Brinkmann over at ghacks.net has posted an essay about his site moving forward in 2018.  I've actually been appreciating ghacks more lately.  Definitely a site that should be in your bookmarks for daily reading and deserving of your support.

Yikes, I have no idea where to start..  Never heard of anyone having such a problem..
You might try one of my other apps on the google play store to see if it behaves the same way.. that might give some kind of clue.
Do you have this problem with any other apps?

Yeah both of those have a little poetry stream-of-consciousness text in them, nothing important or relevant to the drawings.

Sorry for the late reply.

I'm pretty sure there is a commandline call for FARR specifically to tell it to reload it's alias files.  It was made for the exact purpose you are talking about -- if an alias file is edited outside of FARR while it's running, you need to tell it to reload the alias files.
But I don't see it in help file in the Commandline Options help page..

It looks like there is a special command you can type in FARR: goareload (reload all aliases), so you could call farr commandline and tell it to run that.

But I will add a proper commandline to do it.

Now as for reloading the INI file.. that might be trickier without existing and restarting FARR, but I might be able to add a commandline option to tell it to do that.
2574
I just meant that while "run as administrator" functionality is built in to LBC, I'm not sure it's worth the trouble building in functionality to run apps as arbitrary users, so you may have to find a separate commandline tool that can do that, and launch that tool from LBC, via a commandline or batch file.
