I'm pretty sure it would be covered under similar terms in most Western Countries also...seems like something that should be as private as possible, especially if data can be linked to specific people.

Nothing is ever 100% secure

The basic rule of thumb is...if its online...people can access it.

Best not to think to much about it...but also best to write some pretty long privacy policies and disclaimers to avoid any possible legal actions from break-ins

I will be adding an "open in SC" feature -- I just need to finalize the details and make sure it's easy for people to turn off (never was just an option in previous versions by the way).

Can someone explain the logic to me?

In opposition of legislation that could force the shutdown of parts the internet, we're going to voluntarily shutdown parts of the internet?

I don't like SOPA/PIPA and I'm opposed to them, for sure. But I just don't understand how voluntarily submitting to what you're opposing is really any useful sign of opposition.

The point is, to show the effect it will have...It's a last resort.

That would be like opposing a war by signing up to join the military. Or showing your disapproval of McDonald's by having everybody buy a Big Mac with fries and a shake. It just doesn't make sense to me.

If you did one or the other as a means to an act of defiance (Selling military secrets/Throwing the Big Macs at the store)...
