No, 'Gangnam Style' Didn't Break YouTube. We Did the Math  WIRED

Apparently Wired has a loose screw. The title isn't remotely related to the article and isn't remotely accurate. I really expected better from Wired.

I disagree. The story was about the problem YouTube had with the number of viewers of that video. It was a problem in the same way that Y2K was a problem.

How about a zombie movie where the characters like and prefer being zombies.
Where they are intellectually-superior creatures, frustrated because their favorite delicacy: brains  take such tight co-ordination and teamwork to get and because of this have to be shared among so many people you only get a small portion of the gourmet treat. You don't know how much planning and effort it takes to get it. Ordinary people make it so hard to get their brain. If they only knew how delicious they are.

What they need are a few rain forest zombies skilled in hunting monkeys with those little silent bows and arrows.  Also they could teach their contemporaries the culinary skills required to serve the brains in skull(there must be a term for it like a la carte but I'm not schooled in Haute cuisine.)   :)

But the most flavorful brains are human brains. All the best flavor comes from knowledge and experience, which humans have more of than monkeys.

Free tool detects government spyware

Of course, if you're the one doing the spying, you don't need this.

Does it count if you only spy on little countries like Andorra, Monaco and Vatican City?

Here Are The Most Googled Toys In Each State

Remember adults google toys as well as kids. So kid's tablets in Louisiana and Misissippi say something about adults there as well as children.

I haven't given my results from this quiz on the grounds that it may tend to incriminate me. Were your results any better?

I just had a nice, demented conversation with Racter. The main problem with doing that is that it is a 16-bit DOS program. Does anyone here still have and can run Racter? I needed D-Fend-Reloaded-1.4.2 in order to do it. I never thought that there was a DOS program that Win XP didn't like. I guess it draws the line at 16-bit programs. Does anyone here know of any sites that run on a 16-bit DOS system?

I thought The Post’s use of a “Star Wars” movie creation, an Imperial Star Destroyer, to show the relational size of the comet on which the Rosetta mission’s lander, Philae, set down was hilarious [“On comet, space explorers aim to break new ground,”http://apps.washingt...comet-up-close/1450/ ]. Fortunately for the European Space Agency and the Rebel Alliance, no Imperial Star Destroyer showed up during the landing to thwart their plan to use the comet as a secret hideout for the rebels.
Obviously, the Force is with the mission.

I liked the Star Wars reference so much I added another Imperial ship to the graphic. The Super Star Destroyer is nowhere near the largest Imperial ship(excluding mention of the Death Stars, of which the first was 160 kilometers in diameter). I got the Super Star Destroyer from the deviantArt chart.

Coffee-flavoured beer (and beer-flavoured coffee) takes off

How about coffee, beer, chocolate flavored eggnog with bacon bits since it's the holiday season. It would probably be popular in Japan at Christmas to go with their KFC chicken and kelp ice cream dessert.
