possible to include a trigger key that will search after we have finished typing?

an OPTION in the plugin to say only search when i hit enter would make sense for this and other plugins.

alternatively i could make it something in farr so that for a given plugin you can tell farr not to call it until you hit enter.

another cool mod for forum would be:
show text of all posts which also contain a certain word in them, or show text of all posts from a thread.
very cool ideas.

i think it would be fun if we made tshirts like this maybe for the fundraiser.
(either a tag cloud for the site itself or like i said for the specific person who is getting the tshirt made out of their post text).

we could make mugs from it too of course, it's a kind of cool idea.

i just uploaded a minor update.

it should fix the space at begining of line problem.

the conversion of normal newlines into spaces is by design since fortune files seem to be most often formatted with hard newlines for linebreaks which isn't appropriate for popup wisdom.

you have a couple of choices for forcing newlines in these files. you can manually put a \n where you want a newline, or you can start lines which should start on a new line with a space or you can put 2 newlines (or more) to indicate a break.

you know what would be cool is if we added a mod for the forum so you could ask it to generate a cloud (or just the raw text for the cloud) of all the post text by a given user.  suitable for a teeshirt as app says.

I see that i probably need to add something to farr that will tell you the FULL alias name of the aliases that are partially matched.  so that way when you type gp you would see for each of the entries the full thing to type for each of the partial matches.

It's not technically that hard to do.. but it would involve a lot of extra work on my part building these different ways of getting the program and uploading the different files.  If i didn't have so many different programs i maintain and didn't update as frequently as i do it might be something i'd consider, but as it is now it's just not something i plan on.

the screensaver and wallpaper ones are trickier because idealy one would want to show a file list to let the user choose from.

this is actually possible using an alias, but you may need dc user nitrix to show you how to do it using an alias and the dosearch alias command.

make sure you actually really do have mru installed and enabled.
if you type "aplugins" you should see "FARR Most Recently Used Plugin" in the listing.
and typing mru should give you a nice menu of 4 choices no matter what.

A screensaver controller plugin would be nice. It would show a list of all known screensavers you could choose from to trigger immediately, plus maybe options to disable/renable screenaver.

A wallpaper manager plugin would also be nice to let you choose a background image to set as your wallpaper.

A resolution changer plugin would be nice too (i think this could probably be done simply with an alias group and a commandline tool for changing plugins).
