It wouldn't have been the counter culture without the airplane.  :)

another band I know a little, but not very well.

Here's a nice version of White Rabbit from Mayssa Kaara:

Don't get me wrong here: Pale Moon 26 is shaping up nicely and it is probably the best Firefox yet to be released. I just fear that its main dev could stop development because it's not becoming less work over the years, and some of the interesting parts of the browser are not quite "open source" after all.

I'm fairly happy with it, it's been behaving reasonably well for the last while. It's always good to have a couple of browsers though, and I'm using Firefox less and less; Iron I tried for a while, but didnt stick with it (I *think* it was memory consumption that drove me away).

Glad that you like it. Future OpenDownload² versions will probably be Pale-Moon-only as I don't intend to restrict functionality after Mozilla does not provide XUL interfaces anymore.

just after installing it on palemeoon

a notebook is NOT a viable alternative; only an index card will work because only index cards may be easily and independently shuffled, sorted, laid out neatly

I was reading ewemoa's links and thinking index cards would be better --
when you're on the go mouser, do you carry some index cards with you?
If so, how -- do you have some sort of box or protection for them ?

For example, Make Coffee is available only in the Pro edition.

I'm a basic user, but always really liked the "Portable File Associations™ / portable Openwith Menu™" (only with paid version) which allowed a portable customisable open with dialogue -- almost as good as coffee :D

Blind Faith

especially enjoying this one (as I write -- they both before my time, knew the names but hadnt heard either of them).

EDIT// here's another great version (eletrical) of the great "Can't Find My Way Home", needs a bit of volume if possible :-)

How to test thsi program ? Could not find any demo version.

I have few shaky photos. Want to check if it can fix them.

I'm pretty sure this wont fix camera shake Anand.
I dont know what would improve images with camera shake - you might find something here:

^ very good
seems to be mainly based on the Johan Hari TED talk (Hari + his book are mentioned at the end of the video) -- it's worth listening to as he does go into more depth.

Although I that that there are only three horsemen.  Anthrax is on a second tier.  And slayer got pissy because they weren't playing The Four Horsemen.
life can be complicated ;D

re John Lennon and Rock n Roll,
I have fond memories of his 'Rock 'n' Roll' album. Haven't heard it in donkeys years, but found it as a playlist on YT.

Screenshot Captor / Re: Tiny Toolbar and Screenshot Captor Options window
« Last post by tomos on October 30, 2015, 05:52 AM »
Right now the resolution is at recommended (2160 x 1440). I have large icons but that shouldn't matter as my issue is WITHIN the software application (as can be seen in my screenshots). This, therefore, must be an issue with Screenshot Captor. Why is it, however, that I seem to be the only one with the problem? I really am struggling as I use this regularly and this new change is making things difficult for me.

no, you are not alone -- even on a FHD 15.6" laptop, the text is already quite small. With system font-scale set to 125%, nothing seems to change within Screenshot Captor (font size should be increased).

Really good music:

Our new and esteemed friend Mr. Andrew Benincasa did things we didn't even know you could do using paper and scissors and light and stop-motion cameras.  It's sort of puppetry and it's sort of animation and it's all sorts of awesome.

50 pounds of pot mailed to wrong address
What would YOU do if you got 50 pounds of pot in the mail? Make brownies?

Good question... I don't partake, but I have friends that do... then again... I'd be paranoid having had that much arrive.

That's pretty scary, because whoever it belongs to will certainly want it back. Give it away and hope they don't find out that it arrived at your home? You pretty much can't give it to the police as they'd stick a flashlight & swab so far up your butt that the cotton would clean your ear wax while the flashlight would help your dentist...

why would you even accept a delivery for someone that doesnt live at your address?
Maybe, unless it was really for you -- but then you notice that the package was tampered with and give it to the cops before they pay you a visit and charge you...

I started the thread and I meant it to be for movies. Yes, you quote me -- and you would win on a technicality in a court of law :) but hey, we're just in dc forums. Posting them is fair enough, but this does not seem to me to be the right thread for them...

when I posted the above, I wasn't expecting to be accused of censorship (that actually gave me a chuckle).
I'll repeat my request that the 'spirit of the thread' be respected (next we can make idols of 'the spirit of the thread' :p). I'm often guilty of going off-topic, and I've no problem with threads veering off-topic. But this derailing is unreasonable imo...

On the nutter side... Stuff about aliens & stuff:

https://youtu.be/bqj4-DE1EIQ

Nutty, but ok to watch while you're getting other stuff done away from the computer.

Or maybe not nutty, and I'm just wonky.

You decide. :P

Note that my objection was/is not to the subject-matter. That is a separate issue.

Hi Tomos, sorry I didn't see your reply in top of IainB's reply.
A lot of machines? Maybe 10 to 15.
It's for non-commercial/private use on family & friend's computers.
Did you have something in mind?

no, just thought the price seemed reasonable for 3 pcs -- but is obviously different cup of tea if 15 computers...

^ system font size should not affect image size (nor quality) anywhere on the system. But I'm no longer on that laptop, so currently cant test changing that to 100%.
I haven't seen the problem elsewhere, so at least it's not a forum problem -- will get back if I do find the solution.
