In the end, I know I didn't give Linux the try it deserved, but I realized that I didn't need to- that there was no compelling reason to switch. So I haven't.I think that is why 98% of ppl stay with Windows, including developers and other techies-wraith808 (March 19, 2012, 05:03 PM)

1. Go here to see the datasheet (.pdf file) displayed in FF V11.0:I just made a near perfect scrolling screenshot using Chrome 19 (build 1061-dev), only issue is that SSC didn't correctly auto-detect the right margin of the screenshot. but that was easily adjusted.

-then the job is done at once :-)That depends on the type of Command prompt, a 'standard' one or an 'Administrator' command prompt, as the last one has better privileges and can execute nearly anything with admin rights-Curt (March 14, 2012, 06:25 PM)

I AM the administrator of my PC. Guest account is not activated. The problem may be HOW various programs are installed, and/or where their shortcut is situated ("Curt-user" vs "All users"). It now #seems# to me that in general it is mostly a question of not double-clicking installation files, but right-click > Run as admin'. But I am not yet certain of this. Please teach me! On my previous computers I would always just double-click the installer, and never had this new problem.I think you really need to get up to date on (maybe Windows Vista) Windows 7 and the UAC 'issue' http://windows.micro...user-account-control-Curt (March 13, 2012, 05:34 PM)

No more clicking X buttons, instead press Square > down, down, A!Isn't that close to steering through Windows using a keyboard only? That can be done quite easily already-PrincessBridget (March 10, 2012, 02:31 PM)
