General Software Discussion / Re: List bookmarks url's to a txt file
« Last post by Contro on February 14, 2014, 01:24 PM »
As far as I can tell the Opera bookmarks file, bookmarks.adr, is ordinary text.  You can import, say Firefox bookmarks, then open bookmarks.adr.  All the Firefox bookmarks will be under a heading Firefox Bookmarks, or something similar.  When opened by Opera all the imported Firefox bookmarks are in a folder of that name.  I have many times, just deleted that header and a couple of lines above it, to make the Firefox bookmarks become all the Opera bookmarks.

But anyway, for now as a stopgap, you can import with Opera then just copy and paste with a text editor to save as a plain text.

I see that we can export to an html file, but the content is for filter, not the list of the urls
So
In opera i will try and comment.
Because perhaps we need the method to extract the url's (certain url's) from the html file or any other type.

List bookmarks url's to a txt file

I have seen import/export to html or other format files, but not the simple possibility to export all the bookmarks or groups to a txt file.

Is it possible and how ?

^ I say you need help from the malwarebytes forums

I was in an antivirus forum but the way they usually offer support don't go with me because the tell me : do this, do , do , do and gives no explanations at all. So finally i decided to do "searching" the web.....
-
I removed a virus last week - some things got temporarily messed up from the fixes recommended, but in general I'd say you're better off going with the instructions from the antivirus forum -- but that's easy for me to say now ;-)

*****
Do you have a recent image of the OS partition(s) ?

Do you read my mind ?

Let me reinitiate and try again . if no results i will go malwarbytes forums but will inform you here too about final results.

Best Regards

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\MBAMShlExt was not possible to elliminate.  Searching mbam.

Now with malwarebytes
in the registry

in the system
c:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes , no access
C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, no access

I paciently take control of administration rights.
I decided not delete the prior directories

i elliminate two entries about malwabytes, but I forgot to capure the key....

so . By fear i reiniate again and try again.

This virus take possession of several folders, and seems put to zero the groups of users of some files. And those files was not possible to open. After about 48 hours i haven't observed the virus. But may be some strange behaviours stay in some place......
 ;D

After reinition i will try to install again and inform you.

Best thing to do if you get infected by a bad virus (one not known to be easily and reliably cleanable) is restore a system backup that you know is clean, or reinstall windows -- rather than try to "clean it"

Yes, yes and yes. You are right . But, I am in reverse mode. Save the system !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I recognized is one of my many stupid attitudes.

I think Target meant to reinstall the application that won't launch...not your whole operating system.

Yes. I know. I tried ccleaner and finally i am reinstalling. I am with this virus from 08.02.2014. Time to work !!!!!!!
Reinstall, but first delete the exe affected or may fail the reinstallation.....

 :(

As I result of a virus the past week I think i am still alive and trying to solve some little problems remaining.

One of this problem are two or perhaps more executables that don't go after that damn virus.

The message is

<program> it's not a valid windows 32 bit application
<programa> no es una aplicación win32 válida

What can I do to recover those affected executables.

One of them is the program MaxMax.exe

I think i need the line from the command line to create an empty notepad++ txt file

Running to try

really i am lost. I don't discover exactly the structure or operation way or configuration of the program. I don't know the structure indeed. I don't know how to locate any icon present in the contextual menu.

Except those properly from lopesoft......

2121
I am trying with filemenu tools.
Seems easy, but I don't know how to put in the parameters to create a new empty notepad++
I only open the program.
How can i do that ?
 :-*

P.D. I will explore the submenus, specially the new submenu for ideas...... meanwhile....

Finally I found the post . It seemed to me that I did this question before : https://www.donation...ndex.php?topic=31439

-back then the answer was Notepad++.
What has changed, if Notepad++ no longer is the answer?

I don't understand what you are trying to tell me. But I have to understand.
At the present moment when i open a txt file does with pspad. It's the default. But I use notepad++ too.
2123
Check out also FileMenuTools: http://www.lopesoft.com/en/filemenutools

I think is the past i renounce to this target because using a more powerful script to create even list of txt files in a folder with the hotkey win+y.
I am using filemenu tools for years, now in seven.

I remember it was not possible in windows xp, but I think is possible in seven ......
