Yeah... I just can't get excited about double-speak.

+1.  Say what you mean.  I hate PC-talk.

Thanks for the ideas, Nutty.  I've made note of them.

No special reason why Susan B. Anthony dollars get their own designation.  Just the way I chose to do it.

...Just "don't take any wooden nickels."

Sage advice :D

5- Why so few freeware screenshot capture programs offer a “redo last capture” option. This is an option that I really need and use, but is consistently missing from most screenshot programs.

This has become the first thing I look for in a screenshot taking program, and, if missing, I move on. The only free programs that do this that I know of are PicPick, Screenpresso, and Screenshot Captor.

Kudos, mouser!

Generally I google for mine apps to check the reviews, from independent blogs and reviewers, to make the apps even better. While on the tour, I found that "Overlap Wallpaper" was available at crack website with "unlock key" offered !!

Why on earth will someone need a crack for a freeware ? beats me.

Same thing happens to me when I Google my own free-/donation-ware.

The most fun I've had RPing has been using AD&D 2E.

That said, in recent years my favorite system is Dominion Rules.  I'm building KATE (Kyrathaba's Advanced Text-adventure Engine), which will leverage Dominion Rules.  Sadly, this is a large project, and will not be ready for release for quite some time.

Per the PHP-based download counter I have associated with this app, several people are interested in it. Do any of you have any feature requests?

There are 140 days remaining for Pledges to be submitted.  So far, we have six Pledges.  Thanks to all who have stepped up!  Keep those Pledges coming, we're currently 12% of the way to attaining our goal of 50 Pledges for NANY 2012!!

Great, kamahl!  Looking forward to this!  I'm also a fan of AD&D 4e.

If you're going to pay for encryption on DropBox though (for accounts larger than 2GB), might as well just use SpiderOak.

And the jury is still out on SpiderOak as far as I'm concerned.  I still haven't heard back on my support issue, as discussed here.

Okay, it's been one week.  I got an email from a SpiderOak engineer stating he was looking into why the application gave me incorrect info in the usage bar on the amount of free storage I have available.  Still awaiting a response on his findings.

Version 1.0.0.9 is released.  Fixes the problem mentioned in my previous post.  Setup is changed so that custom desktop and start menu icon is used.

Now I just need to implement smart querying of records, and I think I'm about done.

+1 to what Stoic Joker said.

Incidentally, I've had good luck doing simple file/dir mirroring or full backups using FBackup4 (no affiliation, and I use the free version). +1 to what Stoic Joker said.

I just realized that I didn't include checking the combobox and datetimepicker controls, when determining whether to enable the Save button of the Edit Record screen. I will fix this in about 8 hours, when I have time to spend a few minutes on my dev machine.

A major update -- Version 1.0.0.8 -- is released.  This release fixes a couple of small problems (not bugs really, just improves the UI and intuitiveness of the interface).  And, this update adds the ability to edit previously saved records!  This is a big step toward making the app more flexible and, therefore, useful.  Next on my features-to-be-implemented list is a "Search by criterion/criteria", which will allow the user to search for records that meet specific criteria (e.g., "find only those records that have at least one nickel and two pennies...").

The size of the setup program has increased from 373 Kb to 376 Kb.

Version 1.0.0.6 is released.  This version compacts the menus a bit, and gives a bit more flexibility in handling file deletions and the combobox contents:

Version 1.0.0.5 is released.

This update includes the following:

A new custom icon, as well as (IMHO) an improved form background graphic (oink, oink)...

FoundMoneyPiggyBank.png

New menu items "Search by Criteria" (not yet fully implemented), "Delete Records" (fully implemented), and "Restore Default Locations" (fully implemented)

A functional "Credits" button:

Feedback is welcome.  The "Search by Criteria" method will allow the user to do database-like queries, e.g., "show me all records in which there are at least two dimes and three quarters..."
