Gray is great because unlike white it's not so bright for your monitor and unlike black, it's not some hipster reverse psychology pretending to be much clearer and friendlier to the eyes while making every letter seem bold.

I think Paul has been fortunate enough to miss the Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon: http://en.wikipedia....Fifty_Shades_of_Grey

I've not read it, but have read plenty of reviews for it (which are probably more entertaining that the books). My general impression is that it's a good read - for people that never read novels; so have nothing better to compare it with.

Its...'Mummy Porn'...That is what it's unofficially being called...

ALTHOUGH...From a man who's mrs has read all 3 books; perspective, it works out very well for your personal life if you know what I mean ^_^

That looks like it might be good software for us to use.

BUT Americans and people who don't want to be gambling real money are directed by the site to download the software from:

When you install it, choose custom install and uncheck the Internet Explorer toolbar button.

Don't want to/cant because Online Gambling is banned in America

That image is clearly shopped. I can tell by some of the pixels. Also because I have seen many shops in my time. ;)

A bunch more soldier returns to dog videos here:
http://www.mentalflo...logs/archives/106498

#6 is pretty cool because the dog is scared of the "stranger" at first before he recognizes him.

NOTE:
The only thing that detracts from these videos for me is the fact that there is a dog in my building who will react this insanely to every person he meets, whether its the first time you see him or the 100th.  So.. some dogs are just drama queens..

My dogs go mental if I leave the house for 3 seconds and react like I have been gone for a lifetime lol

FRAPS is tempting, but I have a FREE key for the old Camtasia 5 (from 2008), so even it now is at version 8, it will do for now; a video is merely a video... or something.

Test it with a youtube video or something first to make sure it captures correctly.

-thanks
The idea was simple and easy to test, but... just one minute of using Camtasia 5 => 275MB,
so screen capturing for 1½ hour surely must produce a gigantic² filesize!
or not ?

edited:
oh, wait
- I realize I can settle with one file per period. Okay, this will be manageable.

Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure if it will work like you hope, I do however, think FRAPS would work.  Both are NOT free however, unless you want huge limitations.

Tonight (in 6 hours from now) Denmark is playing the final match for the World Championship in Beach Handball (against Brazil). The match is being streamed and I would like to keep the video. However, to my surprise Firefox VideoHelper will merely catch small blocks (from 16kb to 237kb) from the stream, not the entire video. I have no experience in catching video streams, so I have come to ask for 'your' advice, please.

We can test your ideas via http://www.dhf.dk/Pr...e_4_x_landskamp_live >> scroll to the red lines; there are also links to other (normal handball) matches being played, or via http://spengerevent....se.at/hem2012stream/ (playing right now as I type).

 (see attachment in previous post)

How about using FRAPS or Camtasia or some other screen recorder that will also allow you to record sound from your computer at the same time.

I just put everything in a normal text file and put it on CDRW and throw it in the safe.  If there's ever a change that needs to be made, that's why I use a CDRW!  lol

CDRW seems too unstable for me.  My mrs knows all my passwords for anything that is important (Paypal, eBay, Bank etc) so I don't worry too much about this.  IF I did drop dead tomorrow, its also possible for her to simply turn my PC on, and just hit the auto-login button for most low-level security sites (DC, Facebook etc) so she can access anything she needs to.  IF we both ended up dead in the same accident, then nobody else needs my information, and it can be left as it currently is :)

Modern Warfare 3?  I haven't seen it for any less than that... and that rarely.  Any online outlets you can point to?

I saw it in Tesco (UK Chain Store) for £21 on PS3 and XBOX360 - No mention of a sale, didn't look for PC version as I am not sure they stock PC games.

£19.97 from PCWorld (Also no mention of sale) http://www.pcworld.c...-3-11502347-pdt.html

At the request of mouser, and for my own sanity of not having 3000 new randomly titled new threads added by Gri, I shall unlock this thread for him to go crazy in.

Anybody who cannot understand him, or cannot deal with him, is asked to simply ignore this thread :)
