sure.

however my limited experience with companies tells me they won't approve it unless i charge them a very high fee for a corporate site license.  that seems to be the main way they know it's legitimate software  :D

and so i will include a bill for $10,000.

MilesAhead's description of surfing netflix, using one tiled panel to show a page of details about the main page he was reading matches how i do a lot of surfing.. i wonder if some hybrid of tabs and tiled panels could be done so that you had one main window for browsing, and then it spawned some temporary tiles as you were looking at extra information related to the main page.

Yes, it's very simple.
The books are just text files with one quote per line(!) -- or multiline quotes separated by % character

The easiest way to make a book is to go into the books directory and look at the existing book files in a text editor.
Then just write your own book file and put it in that directory.

v2.60.02 is on the server as a silent update (i.e. wont show up as an update on the updater) and should fix the slide number issue.
so just right click on farr and say to update even though same version, and it should fix it.

hopefully i didn't break anything in this update -- i heard a report from dc member JoTo that somehow since version 2.56.02 the czb plugin pack plugins (jscalc in particular) are crashing his farr, so i'm looking into that.

the new appcap stuff (especially appcappappendmemo) should make it easier to run commandline tools and see their output in FARR window.

czb plugins require fsubscript download (see https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=17153.0):

If FSubscript isn't installed, czb pack plugins will not work or even be listed.  (i think the best cure for this confusion in the future is to include fsubscript in base farr install).

As for the other plugins "included" in FARR -- this is a common confusion -- FARR actually doesn't come with plugins installed, they are just standins with some info that FARR has so it can install them on request when you run the update checker from FARR and click on the Available for Installation tab.

This is actually quite interesting.. Mozilla (makers of FireFox) are having a contest to see who can come up with the best ideas for innovating the next user interface development that will go beyond the concept of "Tabs".  Now personally I *love* tabs, so i'm curious to see what people come up with.

For this Design Challenge we are focusing on finding creative solutions to the question: "Reinventing Tabs in the Browser - How can we create, navigate and manage multiple web sites within the same browser instance?"

To participate in the Design Challenge you need to create a mockup of your proposed solution. A mockup can be anything from a napkin drawing, to a wireframe, to a polished graphic.

You also need to create a video explaining your idea(s), presenting the mockup and showing how your idea works.

It's confusing -- the map is actually shown on 2 pages in your profile, on your summary and on your Forum Profile Information page.
the Summary one can't be used to place pin -- you have to click on "Forum Profile Information" on left hand side of profile to get the map you can place your pin on.

i just tried scrolling window capture in chrome and it worked, but it was REALLY REALLY slow.. i'll see if i can speed it up and maybe in the process ill end up fixing the problem you had.

surely it can be fixed.. as a temporary workaround, you can switch between 2 ways of capturing regions in the options, you might try the other way to see if that works.

can you clarify what happens with those programs you have listed? does the cursor let you try to select the region to capture at least? or does it automatically go right to full screen capture?

I'm sorry to say that FARR does not have the ability to auto-resize horizontally, only vertically.
