Prevx is wrong, very wrong.  This is a false positive that is frequently triggered on developers using the Autohotkey programming langauge, and it's driving programmers crazy.

i worry that when google hear's that, it translates to "it doesnt have an easy way to plaster ads on it"

one of the mysteries of our current age is that people go ballistic when you put ads inside applications, and yet have no problem with the fact that every site on the web is filled with them.
so that happens when all apps are web apps?  is it like dividing by zero?

you explained the problem very well.  unforunately as skwiere yes, one of FARR's weaknesses is that it does not handle the extended diacritical values well.. though i wonder if there isnt some option in Everything or tinyev that could make it work properly, since obviously you are able to type it into the farr search edit box..

I'm also thinking that a great thing to do for a relative when you set them up with a new pc, is install a virtual machine software for them (virtualbox, etc.) and install a copy of their OS in it (and maybe even linux if they want to experiment), and then instruct them on how to install new software programs on the virtual machine, and tell them that they should NEVER install anything onto their main pc that they aren't 100% sure they will want to keep using permanently.  Everything else they should install on the virtual machine.

it's a bit confusing to get used to, hopefully in the end it will start to get natural.

you can show the contents of a directory by simply typing that directory in the search edit box, like: E:\Portable\Note\

so to make an alias show this more easily, you can create a regex alias that matches like ^nn(.*)$
and in results put: dosearch E:\Portable\Note\ $$1

try that.
