this might have been already mentioned but imo, DVD Flick is a quite handy DVD authoring program and it's free.

good to have some competition around Kindle but still, no international support sucks big-time. i guess the rest of us just have to rely on China/Taiwan knock-offs then..

if you run either thunderbird or windows mail, they will be able to detect the existing accounts and prompt you to import them. but if you have the accounts in two different OE identities, then things might get a bit trickier but can be done.

for a Thunderbird, this add-on is most useful.

Allows bidirectional access to Google Calendar

This extension allows Sunbird and Lightning to read and write events to a Google Calendar.

Please read http://wiki.mozilla....endar:GDATA_Provider for more details and before filing a bug. Also, be sure to visit the discussion forums, maybe your bug already has a solution!

Please use http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ to submit bugs.

within the google calendar page, you can click on the side where there are 'My calendars' and 'Other Calendars'. you can also click on this link.

General Software Discussion / Re: n2ncopy: copy/move stuff to multiple locations
« Last post by lanux128 on October 08, 2009, 06:19 AM »
Thanks lanux.

Until I find a more complete solution like being able to specify multiple sets of copy operations within a single program, this will be useful. What I mean by multiple sets is that:

you're welcome and not to worry since skwire's on the case now.. ;)

in the (g)olden days of floppy disk, a lot of people had the same problem. using mac-formatted floppies on windows PC. :)

CleverCat: you can type 'aplugins' in Farr and post a screenshot of the resulting window or you can go to 'Options > Troubleshooting Log' and post that info.

Nice, but WSCC seems better. Easier to update (just click Update) and a description for Sysinternals utilities.

lol, i posted about that launcher as well and it's currently part of my portable apps suite. :)

General Software Discussion / n2ncopy: copy/move stuff to multiple locations
« Last post by lanux128 on October 08, 2009, 01:47 AM »
based on a request on the chatroom by srikat, presenting n2ncopy.

[13:37pm] <srikat> need a small portable freeware
[13:38pm] <srikat> something like http://www.zenosys.com/mirror/index.html
[13:38pm] <srikat> from the screenshot appears like the above can support only one target location
[13:45pm] <srikat> I downloaded the above program and we can only mirror all the content of a folder
[13:45pm] <srikat> I need the ability to specify a file for the source
[13:45pm] <srikat> and for the destination multiple folders
[13:46pm] <srikat> into which the source file should be copied
[13:46pm] <srikat> with overwrite if exists option

this program is easy enough to use. a window will appear in the left bottom corner of the screen. Drag-n-drop the files and folders that you want to copy/move (there is an option for this later) into the left side of this screen. Drag-n-drop the destination where you want to copy/move on the right side of the window. this is a freeware but donations are welcome.

Note: the author's site is on Geocities (which is closing on October 26, 2009) so he's in the midst of moving his programs to a new host.

i'm curious about Allure, if the patching is done in memory. what will happen when the user reboots with a non-standard theme/style? i couldn't find any info on this at their site.
