-however, the free Bionix does not fit the required set of features. But I guess the "Ultimate" $20 version does; see http://www.bionixwal...ltimate-edition.html. Normal price said to be $30

I think you need to tell how & where the application is going to be used. On your homepage, or on your pc, or on my pc, or on your smartphone whatever wherever etcetera?

-no, Mike. I cannot imagine I would ever need the main feature of this application: the reusable effects. I edit a lot of pictures, but always one by one - I never re-use a setting. It may be a fine editor, but I would much prefer more features, instead of this.

But I have two of their other programs, (Dynamic Photo HDR and Dynamich Painter), and they are both very stable, and very fast launching. So I think Mediachance's programs are very well written.

Instead of spending much time updating their existing programs,
Mediachance took time to create a new wonderboy program:
Photo-Reactor!

What is so different about Photo-Reactor?
Everything! From the very first moment you open it, you will work in a brand new dynamic environment where the old static image processing do not apply.

Watch a very short introductory video showing you how to create a simple reusable effect
http://www.youtube.c.../watch?v=CUolSDRc72Y

With Photo-Reactor:

- every single effect or adjustment can be re-adjusted at any time without ever undoing steps. It doesn´t matter if you applied an adjustment minutes or months ago you can always go to that very step and change it, remove it add to it.
- you can have unlimited layers and effects that also go sideways, not in one big layer pile like with every other editor
- you can wrap effects and processing into new super-effect, add your own controls and then use them in the future as just any other single effect
- you can apply all the effects, however complex they are to any other images with a single click or to a folders full of images without creating macros
- once a series of image adjustment is done, it is automatically reusable forever regardless of its complexity
- you can create reusable effects that are very hard to do in standard linear photo editors
- it has a build-in super fast c++ language script for the few of us geeky enough to mess with that sort of things things
- the output image can be used to process other images without the need to remember what was done

I had the same problem a couple of months ago. Not understanding why, I "solved" it by removing the last two installed programs AND updating my security program's installation files - and didn't think about it again, until now.

However, I have another "WTF" problem, which I imagine began right after an automatic update from Microsoft in the middle of May, causing unstable USB Charger and mouse performances (which is odd, because the charger is only handling the wireless keyboard, not the wired mouse). Can the beginning of your reported problem maybe be dated to an automatic update?

I don't know why eM Client Pro 5 is on offer already, $15 $20 instead of $50. In my memory version 5 is not very new or old, so I am a bit puzzled by the discounted offer on the new, ugly Bits du Jour. Maybe it is just some kind of a hello, we are still alive!...

Living Room / Serif PagePlus X7, on time or too soon?
« Last post by Curt on June 03, 2013, 04:23 PM »
Sorry, I am so upset that I have not taken any time to check history, or to locate the proper thread, before posting: Serif is now going the same road as Ashampoo and Paragon, etc., launching major upgrades instead of minor updates! Maybe I am forgetting things. Maybe time has been running much faster than I have been able to cope with. Maybe it really was about time. But I tell you, in my head PagePlus X6 is very new, yet it has already been replaced by X7. I am disappointed and upset.

What do you think:
Is the launching of Serif PagePlus X7  on time or too soon?  :tellme:

My Danish bank is the Swedish giant, Nordea. I can enter the site via any browser, but when I start using the banking features, my (64-bits) Waterfox will log me off. I guess this has to do with Java (or some other fancy technique), rather than browser marque.

My words "Only IE" did not include the ocean of other browsers - or didn't you read the other thread "What browser do you use?", before answering my words about IE? - only Waterfox and Internet Explorer. :-[

EDITED:
I suddenly remembered that the title of this thread includes the word "jokes", so I deleted the former content of this post; it was cute, but not really a joke. Sorry!
------------

New content is from http://www.gocomics.com/ Lio by Mark Tatulli. We all know that Calvin & Hobbes by Watterson is the best comic in the world. But this joke by Tatulli includes a quite interesting question we now must address: Does "the world" even include other planets?

Just for curiosity I installed Maxthon but I almost never use it. Can someone explain at least one reason to use it?
Government websites, that break in other browsers? (it's IE in a prom dress, so it's very likely to work in cases like this)
There are also a number of shopping sites that, without saying so, require the IE engine to complete a purchase, at least they do if you're running some flavour of Windows.

I can only visit my bank account via IE or Maxthon ("IE de Luxe")

- maybe because I normally use Waterfox (64-bit Firefox 18)

I assume it is saying "You have 1 message" - not "You have 1 new message". If you read it or not, you still have 1 message. You may go to your "Personal Message Index" and delete the message, to change this.
