First impressions, excellent stuff tranglos thank you

Just used it for a bit, takes a bit getting used to, I highlighted a line of text in its internal browser but it offered (via right click) to save the frame

A point about GAOTD, their licenses are only one time with no allowance for recovering from a system crash or installing on another computer. A PIM or similar program that holds info loses value in this sense.

Thanks. With the recent threads and deals for the likes of Surfulater and my (and others') obsession with knowledge base and PIM like products MetaProducts is one I got to try.

You might want to look at Glenn's software like Auto FTP or Send To FTP
http://glenn.delahoy...software/index.shtml
Don't remember any exist that are straight to a FTP server and provide a link unless you upload to services like imageshack or dropbox public folder

JShot or Shotty are two I have used before. The former has FTP support.

I am aware of this, it used to work but I have no idea if as of now the 'trial' download is really what it was before.

I wish I could respond to Rover but it would get too political. Not that I would use foul language or anything even remotely like that but still don't think DC is the place, my opinion :)

In situation when society actually pays you for not working "fear of poor" is a bad joke.
-fenixproductions (August 11, 2011, 05:50 AM)

I don't necessarily disagree with the rest of your post but this part....most of the developed world that's not the case any more any way. Welfare state was abolished by so-called left leaning people (Clinton, Blair, etc.). The little that exists does not discourage people from seeking real income and employment, that's one of the biggest myth perpetuated by the right.

This doesn't match your description exactly but is Notes Holder even close? Trying to remember something similar because I may know what you are talking about.

What I think of there is how much suffering did the dictator/offical cause, and how much would they cause, and how does that compare to the suffering incurred by people caught in the cross-fire.

Yeah... It's sucky. But I just don't see any "perfect" way to deal with things. When you start shooting, innocent people get hit. What realistic option is there? Let the monsters rule?

Assassinating the guy is less plausible, less costly, less dangerous than throwing thousands of bombs all over? I really doubt that.
(Sorry for going a bit too off topic: In any case countries that suffer the foreign intervention or bombing fate don't automatically recover, see Afghanistan (not just more recently but 80's and on), Iraq, most former colonies)

Ultimately it comes down to thinking of others too when voting, when hacking, when doing whatever.

In all cases people are either selfish in regards to their pocket books...I want my neighbour and me to have access to health care but on voting day I vote for the lower taxes party.

Or selfish in regards to bringing people down. It might sound fine exposing a dictator or elected official but show me an example where normal people didn't suffer as much or more in the process.

Examples:

Like I posted elsewhere on DC hacking the CIA site doesn't affect the CIA head one bit, worst case he resigns and gets a job at a defense contractor.

The west wants to get rid of Ghaddafi but it's breaking news when his compound is bombed (if it is at all) bombs fall elsewhere and some hit military installations. Even if people aren't killed the institutions and infrastructure they depend on is gone.

on and on
