Edit: It's corrected.

Well, no more vendor lock-in than laptops and such... right?Well, yes and no, with this concept you get the illusion you can replace components easily, and it probably is true now, but come back in 3 years or so, and there are still no 3rd party components available/allowed because of license/copyright issues, and the original vendor is either out of business or no longer supporting this type of replacement modules, but you can of course buy their new product... then what's the use of even spending any energy on it? You still need an upgraded/improved/extended computer.-wraith808 (February 11, 2014, 10:00 AM)
)LG 27EA83R-DIf you're aiming for a single-screen solution, I'd definitely have a look at this or a similar, super-high res, monitor. But do have a good test in the shop to view the actual brightness of the screen, that is, IMHO very, important too. You may need to make use of the return-policy, when available, if it's not good enough in your environment (like a very bright, sun-lit, location or whatever).-mouser (February 04, 2014, 06:42 AM)

... remove error message “the compressed (zip) folder is invalid and corrupted"? ...Never, ever, use Windows Explorer to unpack zip-files (the Compressed Folders feature of Windows Explorer). That cr@p-tool is unable to pack or unpack a zip-file correctly.-marrysimon (January 15, 2014, 04:37 AM)
I'll upload the next release somewhere else. You could attach it to the original release-post, so it's stored somewhere in the forum-space, and always available as long as the forum is-phitsc (January 15, 2014, 01:25 AM)

Well, currently the notification is the only way to get to the screen where you answer the questions, so there is obviously no option to disable it... But it makes sense as a feature request to allow using as most of other similar programs work - answering questions only on demand. But the notification is actually the whole point and main idea - it reminds you of a word not just once a day or whenever you remember, but rather whenever you need to answer it to memorise it well.Yep, that sounds reasonable, but then, a way to turn the whole thing off until I turn it back on, would that be feasible?-TPReal (December 30, 2013, 02:17 PM)

, and being able to download a library of words for that language would be really helpful. Typing in 3000 or more cards on my phone/tablet sounds really horrible

Again, this is a prototype to test functionality. So you have another NANY entry?-skwire (December 24, 2013, 10:00 PM)
