BUUUMP, latest version off of DCUpdater works fine with my crazy Norwegian characters, æ, ø, å, etc... however the version in the first post in this thread, doesn't work, so I suggest you update it, lanux ;)

thanks for this discovery, i'll update the 1st post.

Otherwise, thanks for a wonderful alias. I'm hopeful that something similar for Facebook status will be possible eventually. They've released their API, so maybe...

actually there is this script that uses cURL to update Facebook status. :)

which AV were you using first AVG or McAfee? i suggest that you get MSE then exclude the folder containing Skrommel apps as Innuendo mentioned.

as per title, PasteBin.com had made some changes to their website. therefore PasteBinPost is not working with the new design. i know this is a long shot but i post this here in case Skrommel turns up at DoCo forums. :)

today's giveaway looks quite good. Tidy Start Menu is a start menu manager/organiser. This app was on discount here at DoCo some time back.

i haven't used this software before. however since the freeware v2.0 is regarded as the "Best Free Digital Editor" at Gizmo's, i guess it wouldn't hurt to download the v3.0 trial and take it for a spin.. :)

just saw this promo for O&O DiskStat 2 Pro in the mail, not sure when it ends.

O&O DiskStat is a high-power tool for analyzing the used disk space on your storage volumes. With an easy-to-use interface based on the design of the Windows Explorer, you can take a closer look at the file and folder structure of your internal and external drives. Through intuitive and beautiful graphical representations you will find out which files, file types and folders are taking up the most space.

Registration for your FREE license of O&O DiskStat 2 Professional Edition
Please simply fill out the registration form and send it to O&O Software. As soon as we receive it we will send your free license code for O&O DiskStat 2 Professional Edition direct to your e-mail address. Please click on "Submit Form" to get your free license.

even though the program mentioned in the OP is more like Farr. for menu-based app launching, Launchbar Commander is a better fit than Farr. check out this thread for various screenshots of the program in use.
