i just remembered that FarrWebMetaSearch by phitsc is a very handy Farr plugin. there is support for Twitter and the search results are shown live as you type.

BUUUMP, latest version off of DCUpdater works fine with my crazy Norwegian characters, æ, ø, å, etc... however the version in the first post in this thread, doesn't work, so I suggest you update it, lanux

which AV were you using first AVG or McAfee? i suggest that you get MSE then exclude the folder containing Skrommel apps as Innuendo mentioned.

FlashFolder has this feature and apart from windows explorer, it also supports total commander. however FlashFolder has no support for windows 7 and isn't being actively developed.

even though the program mentioned in the OP is more like Farr. for menu-based app launching, Launchbar Commander is a better fit than Farr. check out this thread for various screenshots of the program in use.
