The Getting Organized Experiment of 2006 / Re: New version of ToDoList released
« Last post by Redhat on August 24, 2006, 11:04 PM »
Very nice (just been using it)  :D

May I make just two little "requests" for features? It would "perfect" it for me  :)

  • Re-Organising of Tasks - Is it possible to make available the drag-drop re-organising of tasks in the task list to prioritise?
  • Auto-Save - Also would be great for the list to save automagically after entering a new item! (or, if #1 is implimented, also everytime something is re-organised)

Ta for now  :D

General Software Discussion / Simple To-Do?
« Last post by Redhat on June 15, 2006, 09:44 PM »
Hi everyone  8)

Looking for recommendations for a simple to-do application if possible. It can be web-based but would need to have a desktop client if it is. The features I'm looking for are simply just reminders and simplicity. Free / Open-Source if possible!

Many thanks in advance :)
Matt

Living Room / Re: Overcoming email checking addiction

 ;D *confesses*

Treatment would include such drastic action as moving chair from keyboard, lifting self off said chair, and  :o walking :o away from the computer.

Only to return 20 secs later to check email

I don't see any 37signals products on there -- and they consider themselves the definitive web 2.0.  pwned!

Agree completely, nice links - shall read in a bit! Thanks :)

Also, It's funny I use most of those apps you mention :) EmEditor, FARR, FastStone, CCleaner, Skype and 7zip!

I learned that lesson a while ago - everytime I find something new I discover at least three people have already posted about it. Still just goes to show what a great place to be this is ;)

Sure is a great place, home from home  :)
