Post New Requests Here / Re: DONE: MiniMe (aka MaxiMe)
« Last post by nogojoe on February 02, 2008, 05:28 PM »
Hi jgpaiva

Pause break works ok toogles to minimize open window to what size you want and reopens fully

Scroll lock just sends the current window straight to  the taskbar with no other action cant raise it to full open window from there,(via those keys)

Doesn’t interfere with spellcatcher plus now.

Hi Coders

Like this idea , kinda works for me half pie. the 2x operation is great

2x right control minimizes the open window to the taskbar.

2x right shift does nothing to open the window from the taskbar  but does open when the window has been half closed via the middle button (top right toolbar ... middle button ).

Plays havoc with my program Spell Catcher Plus as it has Ctrl as its main menu/macro key .although I have changed those macro keys it still picks up the ctrl somewhere along the line and opens its window.

Is it possible to have the Scroll lock + Pause break keys  operate the actions for minimize/maximize.
I never use those keys at all on my keyboard.

I have a standard 101/102 key or Micrsoft Natural PS/2 keyboard     running Win Xp sp2

Thanks  nogojoe

Hi jgpaiva

No nested folders.

20-12-2007
21-12-2007
22-12-2007
20-01-2008
21-01-2008
22-01-2008
etc
just as if you create a new folder and name(in this case date it) as such

Hi jgpaiva

Downloade the new version and ran it with no joy.

Created a shortcut from the exe for the desktop and ran it from there and got the message

Please pass the parent folder as the argument!
(Shortcut properties ----Target I:\OpenFolder\OpenTodaysFolder.exe  Start in I:\OpenFolder)

Edited shortcut properties to----TargetOpenTodaysFolder.exe i:\ Start in I:\OpenFolder

Now I get the I drive folder to open however after ensuing that today’s and yesterday’s (dated) folders were present closing the window and activating the shortcut I still only get the “I“ drive window to open

I am on WXP SP2.

My drive letter is “ I “

The folders are archived straight to drive I not under any archive folder for Downloader

Hi Coders

I have a partioned drive which I download programs, web pages, etc.to .  almost on a daily basis
This is done mostly through a program downloader (called DOWNLOADER) it automatically archives the programs etc into a dated folder ie 20/01/ 2008.
I leave these in the folders there in which they are archived in until they are needed.

What I want to be able to is to open the today’s dated archived folder when I access the drive which there are on.

This hopefully would be be done from a shortcut from the desktop.
The coded program would have to locate the (today’s)dated folder if it exists and if a today's dated folder doesn’t exist open the drive as normal .
The date format is dd/mm/yyyy

Many thanks

Hi Tinjaw

A possible improvement would be to have the “since“ & “until” entries be able to be grouped together rather than as they are listed on entry.
Just a click on the “days“ button could sort them out into such order if it were possible
It would make it easier reading

Just a suggestion

Hi Blaster

What I meant was that when you have saved an item and stored in MyHelp when you want to re-use that item saved you have to select, right click and copy that item.

If you could code MyHelp to select all and copy to the clipboard or even to a word processor that item  and this could be done by a single click on an icon.

Hope you understand.

Hi Darwin

No not that complicated

Just a user entry of rainfall.

I have tried to source over the internet such a program but have not been able to locate anything,

I have in the past used a spreadsheet but that seems bulky nowadays.

Hi Coders

I wonder if someone could code a small program to record rainfall.

A running total for the year.
Ability to recall what days rain fell (date & amount) also (totals month by month)
Ability to compare the following years total with the previous year.(The running total)(month by month) idealy could be actually visible on opening program

Love this program Blaster
Great for unloading tidbits stored on my clipboard.

A send/to clipboard option pertaining to the page in the viewer would be nice when you want to re-use the said items.

if you try to access a file named by numbers ie 07-08****** when you use the keyboard set of No's on the right hand side of the keyboard the only number that enters is the 0 and then if you add the 7 it brings up a file not related to the 07-08***** that you are trying to find.

however I did find that the number keys above the letter keys did produce the correct file that was searched for when used

Is that intentional or a bug ?
