If you truly like the software you won, it would be nice if you posted a little mini-review about it, as a way of saying thank you to the company that donated it for us to give away.

Good idea, will after a few days of using it.

Living Room / Re: Why doesn't DC make its own browser?

The biggest issue with open source small team (or not even small) projects is the need to keep up with issues. There is no way any one should use just any even if it 'works well'. Not to get off track but even in major linux repositories very old browser versions last months, even something like old insecure Putty version for example.
Browsers are very much a case of surrendering to the big guys, unfortunate but reality.

One can embed Flash in Excel? Use case of that shows how out of touch MS are, why even that feature. What's the point of something like Powerpoint then (I know I am exaggerating but not that much really  :P )

Dont have it currently to test but something like Bulk Rename Utility could be set to ignore/not touch after X positions, so after 4 in your case. Not sure if logic would work but it might.

I'd put it on my todo list, but at this point my todo list has been concatenated and is scrollable for miles.
I think the more likely even that will happen before then is the possibility of migrating all of our content to a new forum system at the end of the year.  Right now I'm still spending 18 hour days working on getting all of the final little the server migration details working right.

And spend even more time fixing redirection and SEO issues. Becareful what you wish for ;)
