Hey i forgot to ask.. :o Windows Media Player have the feature of Auto-Crossfading song when one song ends it fades to another and we can set the seconds for it...is there any settings in Winamp? Also is there any plugin that does this job...i'm not asking for DJ-Deck thing...but like windows media player like feature...

May I ask why? If you say because of AOL I will lose respect for your opinion in this matter.

Agree with what gothic says. I dnt want to take sides or give biased opinion but New version eats lot of resource. If you observe the new skin and theme then you'll come to know about it,Josh.
Besides if you want i can post screenshot for you,where i got winamp hogging memory while i was typing with MS-Word. :D
Somebody mentioned here 2.9 yup..thats right its less resource eater..and many PCMECH users recommende that version to me....But anyway i switched to Old Skin...So no to use those Fancy effects.

I was pretty excited to download the Winamp's new version.It looks more like Windows media player..And hell it is...they even made their web page title about "Windows Media player".... Funny but glossy and attractive looks are in winamps new themeing engine with release of skin"botha"....
Other features like tool-tip when songchanges and new visualier and media library stuff sounds cool..but i want my old-winamp back...so switching back to old skin.... :D

So i ask you to download and give your opinion about it.What makes u like new or hate new version of winamp...

Agree with what mouser said...U took on heavy project...U learned frm ur mistakes and thats count..Like mouser i think step back for a while...knw whr u made mistake with it..then start to getover it...Again goodluck with that .. :D

My suggestion regarding Tool:
Borland is nt good option anymore as MS made VS Express editions and there is no point of using Devtools other than made from MS due to lack of support/features/Prduction/Lifecycle/Less documentation on the internet/ etc..Other commercial tools can be a good option but maybe lets take opinion frm others abt it..If you know java or plan to port it...then you can use Netbeans/Eclipse to build skyide....Even i can help in that....Drop PM anytime... :Thmbsup:

what will happen if the microsoft,adobe,apple,linux all made their critical aapplications file on web to access it...this will definitely gives rise to online computing and end of offline computing..
such concept will help copyprotect data but not help entire software world....

Hmm...offline Im manageing my website/project 9 years frm netcafe....so still thr is bandwidht and cost issue can't be online till i afford it.....

Linux softwares are not avilable in media like DVD/CD or etc in most of the countries so option for that operating system is restricted with online repository...
i have other points to discuss but will come as others reply....

Hmm...So i got thread of choice today. ;)

I suggest learning  C/C++ on linux..using GCC with text editor (if comfortable)you can use the Kdevelop for C/C++ and KDE/QT programming...other than that anjuta is available....There are plenty of IDE are there..if want to use Ide then go for NetBeans on Linux,it can be used for java,php,ruby,c/c++ etc.

I've simmilar situation.i'm also looking for the website using PHP but i want to design article publishing site for the computer

institute i was in.They want to put the excercise and code  answers for the student to get from site.In that case i have no idea

how to create database for MySQL (I know typical database and table creation) cause i don't understand the layout in this

case,and how to retrive such layout with PHP.

i want database to have :
*post title
* article summary
*article paragraphs (May contain images/text/code)
* also want to put syntax highlight feature for code that i want to enterin article content.
How can i create MySQL databse for it,so that PHP can retrieve the information and displayes in the same order.I'm using

XAMPP  1.6.3.a for this practice.
Do u have any pointers for this?

If CakePHP or Zend suitable for this project? is it possible to upload the content from my XAMPP folder to web server? do i

have to change any code while doing that? or do i have to make PHP installer to check database name and server name?
Please let me know how these things work.

Waterworld is still under beta,is stuck because of sound issues.i'll try to resolve and upload the final release asap.

New note: It could be revealing surprise but i would love to tell you that I'm releasing backround graphics & other gaming related graphics soon.This will  be package which contains:
1. Backgrounds
2. Menu backgrounds
3. Level Maps (RPG's) without object sprites

I'm just confused about the hosting of these files.If you know any host please let me know.

All these files will be released under : Creative commons Attribution 2.5 India License
Means you're free to modify and use with free,Open source and commercial applications without paying a dime to me.All i ask in return is give me credit,(again only if you want).

MS arrived here bit of late so any way here is there service.So check it out.
They are offering 5GB of Online storage for Music,Image and documents.
Beware no mp3 dwnload : or RIAA will sue u.

What i think is : no things are not like myth or legend,.Some things are kept as secret by nature if nature unable to keep it frm humans it will destroy it .

What ya think otherwise you know reporters will be on that lake 24x7 and airing ...army will then came and capture such things and take them to some SETI or area51 things.so moral of discussion is if that creature exists after reading such problems he might have sucided ... :)
