Since it is fed on cookies, it redirects me to country specific domain :(

It is 'supposed' to do that, I am in Canada and have been getting redirected to .ca for a long time

I guess it might still affect your search but adding /ncr bypasses the country specific domain

My current preference is MyBB (mybb.com). I would strongly consider bbPress (bbpress.org) but that is not in the same class as SMF, phpBB, MyBB, etc because it doesn't look the same and is more bare bones type.

As far as high maintenance goes, it depends mainly on modifications that may be necessary or become necessary over time. Spam control is another issue but there are ways to minimize and manage spam.

« Last post by rgdot on May 03, 2012, 11:44 AM »
I am not sure I can see many or any circumstances where comments are not a good idea. In a webmaster sense I would value comments higher than some analytics script telling me xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx spent 10-30s on your site. It is a proof of visitor engagement.

I have never really needed extraction, but for example TreeProjects has a feature called 'special folder monitoring' where any file you drop into it will be imported into TreeProjects automatically and it has inline preview of PDF files.

Glad you mentioned it! TreeProjects 2.5 with encryption/password protection will be released in a couple of days.

No, that's there. It reads through the array of the first.
1287
No problem. If I can't one of the real programmers will  :D

1288
This defines the four

Code: Javascript [Select]
  1. var contarlabels = 0;
  2. labelname = new Array("Beauty","Gastronomy","Fashion","Lorem");
  3. labeltitle = new Array("Beauty","Gastronomy","Fashion","Lorem");

and this cycles through

Code: Javascript [Select]
  1. salida += '<div class="featured">';
  2. salida += '<h3>' + labeltitle[contarlabels] + '</h3>';
  3. salida += salidainner;
  4. salida += '<b><a href="http://femininamagazine-btemplates.blogspot.com/search/label/' + labelname[contarlabels] + '?max-results=10">More '+ labelname[contarlabels] +'</a></b>';
  5. salida += '</div>';
  6. document.write(salida);
  7. contarlabels ++;
  8. }

The array has 4 values. Other categories names can be added to the array.

I am NOT a programmer but have some idea...

So Dropbox has ease of use on its side but not much else?

That is kind of like saying I pay for hosting (for example one that allows personal files besides site hosting) and then leave them. Do I really know what happens with their daily backups?

It all comes down to level of trust or if you like paranoia. Something written in a TOS is only words even if you trust the provider.

+1 to both Jibz posts.

I don't want to be too paranoid. A TOS being 'better' is no guarantee that security and chance of abuse is actually better too, if that makes sense.

In regards to 5 GB in 2012, it is not all that different than social something (Google+) in 2011. Google is just entering something late, up to users to make choices I guess.
1292
and Dropbox ups the ante!

• Share your stuff with a link! http://blog.dropbox.com/?p=1138

So now you don't have to put stuff in the public folder to share it with people? Cool!

That's it? Is that really such a big deal?
1293
Worked fine here too. How about I or someone saves the pdf and emails and then try the emailed one?
