You'll be happy to hear Jody that I'm unable to crash or freeze it

I'll move this to the Finished section. If the "icon" is indeed a shortcut it will "disappear" if the Hidden attribute is set. As an experiment I made a shortcut to cmd.exe and checked the Hidden attribute. It winked out when I hit the Apply Button.-MilesAhead (September 03, 2014, 02:52 PM)
No, thanks but that's not it. That hack is all or nothing. I would like to be able to schedule any individual icon to reappear later as a visual alarm (albeit on the desktop, not 'always on top') and theoretically at completely different times each.-jshare (September 03, 2014, 01:34 PM)
Remember, it's just a game.

The OP appears to be more interested in verifying what the target(s) of file I/O sessions that are currently active is/are...before the relevant application is closed.-Stoic Joker (September 01, 2014, 12:37 PM)
So I'd like a utility I could run that would tell me the complete path for that file. Please don't laugh - I know it's simplistic...-spectrekitty (August 30, 2014, 05:53 PM)
A tray utility that showed RECENT files and RECENT folders when clicked would solve this and be a nice coding snack..-mouser (August 30, 2014, 06:00 PM)
Yes. It's a good start (for the first version) but this (suggested) application should not be limited (only) to the output though.-neverlight (August 28, 2014, 05:13 AM)
However, maybe columns should be opt-in. End-users should select which columns to be displayed.-neverlight (August 28, 2014, 05:13 AM)
There are more advanced kinds of electronics construction kits for older kids who might want more of a challenge, like this one, which uses wires: http://www.amazon.co...Center/dp/B0035XSZDI-mouser (August 26, 2014, 08:42 AM)

columns would be nice.-mouser (August 27, 2014, 09:20 AM)
Interesting tool that does the job and it could be used in the "process". I'm guessing a GUI could be made based on this tool.-neverlight (August 25, 2014, 08:56 AM)
Anuran actually is like "magically useful" for me.-David.P (August 26, 2014, 03:14 PM)
So I suppose this is the solution for the time being -- or is anyone aware of a tool that combines the features of Anuran ("nag me for descriptive text regularly") and a Titlebar tracker ("record the time spent in your projects' files") into ONE application?-David.P (August 09, 2014, 01:33 PM)
ghacks today (8/24) has a review of 9 desktop weather apps and Martin gives sWeather the top recommendation.-msteph (August 24, 2014, 10:49 PM)
Weather app's can get really elaborate (and often beautiful), but many of us are interested in something lightweight, clean, efficient, and free of ads, and sWeather just rocks for that.
Congratulations, skwire-mouser (August 25, 2014, 08:33 AM)
) and it's rather humbling to see it get that kind of recognition.
