Find And Run Robot / Re: Broken icons for 64bit programs

Here's a DEBUG version that will log a LOT of debug info to a debug text file:
https://www.donation...RunRobotPortable.zip

Unzip that in portable directory.  Exit regular farr, start this one, search for your libre calc, then exit farr soon after it shows up in the display.

The resulting debugout.txt file should contain information about how it found the icon images, etc.  and you can mail that to me ([email protected]);  it won't have any sensitive info in it, but feel free to look it through before you send it.

Would you like to set up the source code and dev env on my pc and remote into it so you can debug it?

No, though I may have you try a debug-build that will log for me what files it thinks its asking for icons from.
Hopefully it's simply a matter of FARR mistakenly asking for the icon for exe that it thinks is in Program Files x86, when it should be specifying the file in Program Files\

It's possible that even though it's displaying properly on my machine, it's actually asking Windows for the wrong icon file, and that I can fix it.  I just want to eliminate other possibilities first..
What OS are you using?

In the very unlikely chance that it has something to with my last official build, I've uploaded a beta of FARR with my latest build; let's check to make sure that doesn't solve it:
Download beta version (2.233.01) from here (portable zip).

Faziri, I don't think this will matter but can you show me the "Tweaks and Debugging" tab of your FARR preferences:

I was going to post and say I didn't know why that might be happening, but I see the icons are problematic for shortcut links to 64bit apps.. I should be able to fix..
I'm going to do a FARR update this week so I'll try to get it done this week.. Would appreciate any help testing.

Mousers Media Browser / Re: Mouser's Media Browser v1.11.01 - Dec 14, 2019 beta
« Last post by mouser on December 24, 2019, 07:27 PM »
I have browsed many folders containing image files and 'GoTo' menu is always inaccessible (Windows 8 here).
Oh! Maybe that's a bug then.. it should add each folder each time you go to a new one.. Maybe I need to reimplement that menu.

Yes, the thumbnails become very big. The only workaround I could find to restore the thumbnails size was to delete settings file ('MousersMediaBrowser.ini').
When I tried to reproduce it was just changing the size of the region.. you can drag it back to its normal size which will resize the thumbnails..

Option to save folders as favourites;

It will auto add folders to the GoTo menu as you use them..

Try to switch back from View mode: Grid to View mode: Thumbstrip left or to View mode: Thumbstrip top and see what you get;

I see it does not remember the size of the thumbnail strip, is that what you are talking about?

I'm going to try updating a bunch of stuff on the member server.. what I could use help with is checking that I don't break anything on member pages.. Can folks who have a page on dcmembers report in here so we can check and make sure your pages are all showing as they should?

Probably the most important thing to check is any plugins you are using.

Just a note for folks that have pages at the new dcmembers server:
http://www.dcmembers.com

I've solidified the process for how to set it up so users have their own domain name for their section, and it's pretty painless (and reversible).

So if you are a coder with a dcmembers section, and want to register a domain name, instead of the default dcmembers.com/username, and use that, just let me know.  (we can make the old urls redirect to the new).

As an example, see hamradio's pages (they now redirect to their own domain name):
http://www.dcmembers.com/hamradio

[note: you'll still have to use the multi-user wordpress system we've set up on the member server for your site -- that restriction is what makes it feasible to keep these sites online forever and maintain so many accounts]

Yeah CHS by default announced itself; you can disable that in options.
The others shouldn't.  But I can see in the MMB code that it does display that "Greetings" message if started in the tray; I'll disable that.

I think the only time you might see a tray message is if the program is already running in the system tray when you launch it again -- and it reminds you that it was already running.

One thing I'm not a fan of is the pop-up message in the tray on start.

I don't think there should be any pop-up message in the tray.. what does it say?
