Well, that might be the most work: allow a selection of loupe-shapes to be used, round, rectangle, transparent, left or right side handle, resizable (oops  :-[ that might even discourage mouser to actually implement it, could be refined in a later release ofcourse )

+1 plea for regexes.

www.regex101.com is a quick online site that  gives a full explanation on the regex and it's results, and has a replace feature as well

Yes, it works just fine on either 32 (x86) or 64 (x64) bit versions of Windows.

but the Linux version is free.
So you have an implicit intention to expose kalos to Linux :'( that'll keep 'm busy for a while ;D ;D ;D
1207
If you could figure out what parts of what to use there, I believe it could be done.
It looks like you need to use the "Add Process" button to exclude your local Outlook.exe (or whatever it may be called in Office 365) from being interfered by MBAM. (I'm not using MBAM myself, and with this thread in mind I have no intention to...)
1208
And the link I posted in reply #8, does that improve anything?
1209
I hate being BRAND specific when complaining but there is is.
Hm, you are having issues with a specific product, so you can't ask a generic question, way too many possible solutions to even try to give a suggestion.
1211
IMHO, products like MBAM should 'Just Work'. Like what you say.

You can give your opinion with your wallet: You either buy the product and use it 'as-is', or you uninstall it, and stop any payments (if/as soon as possible).
One good reason to stop using a product is when major failures don't get fixed. It probably isn't the right product for your situation.

But if Exchange 365 has its own anti-malware solution, why are you adding a local scan to your toolchain? A proper AV solution (free or paid, see the recent related discussions on this forum) should be able to block anything undesired?
1212
@questorfla:
Things I can't find in your messages:
- What 'malware scanner' product are you using? (aha! Malwarebytes, it's hidden in the sub-context of the second story/message) and why this product?
- Is that scanner running locally? (I seem to deduce it does)

Yeah, that would be Office 365, in the web/cloud/on-line edition.

Check out this NANY 2014 release: Text Inspection & Manipulation Utility https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=36544.0
It has a Scramble feature...

WinSendKeys is not a hotkey program in itself, it's a command-line program to send a sequence of 1 or more keystrokes to another application.

It's main use-case (for me) is another of my tools, WinButtons, that provides on-screen buttons, optionally 'placed' on a touch-screen, to control applications that have a bunch of features kinda hidden behind (user-defined or not) hotkeys, that would be more easily controlled with a separate window of buttons, that can also hold text and/or an image stating it's function.
You can also create shortcuts anywhere (desktop, quick launch bar?) that sends a sequence of keys to an application, and optionally starts the application for you, if it's not already running. You can even assign a system-wide hotkey to that action

Yes, documentation is rather technical, but there have been very few requests lately about this tool, so I've assumed everybody is happy... :-[

Find And Run Robot / Re: Portable FARR - File Altered? Problem with Cert?
« Last post by Ath on May 15, 2015, 01:04 PM »
The file is not altered, but it's signed with a code-signing certificate that uses SHA1 hashing algorithm that is deprecated by (a.o.) Microsoft and Google.
Microsoft wrote down their policy this way: http://blogs.technet...recation-policy.aspx
Google has been publishing their intent in this article: http://googleonlines...unsetting-sha-1.html

On the InstallSite blog an article in this direction is also written:
...
It only seems to affect setups that are being digitally signed.

The problem is caused by Windows Update KB3004394 which updates the way Windows checks for revoked root certificates.
...
Full article: http://blogs.msmvps....-command-line-build/
Newer versions of InstallShield just fail to digitally sign the executable, but the Portable build and Inno Setup installer that are used for SC signing doesn't seem to fail, but it's your OS that fails to accept the Certificate chain-in the file.

I guess mouser needs to update his code-signing certificates to SHA2 (aka sha256) versions (my employer also has to, but we're already due for this update in a couple of months).

I have to dble-click the shortcut and NOT drop the image on the shortcut ! (what I did before) Waooo !
I didn't see that one coming :o you never talked about drag&drop of an image file in this thread...

Assuming you are using the latest version, we'll have to await Skwire's response as he has the sourcecode. So far I can't see you've done anything wrong in that command-line.

Possible external causes:
- The png file could be malformed or in-use by another program (preview?)
- Your AV is interfering with frameless
- There could be a permission issue with either the exe or the png file

There are Linux win32 utilities that have bash shell with ls and rm commands.
Cygwin ?

Nice tool, but somewhere along the road it lost its Linux-ability :o That seemed like a nice-to-have feature, but _I_ won't be using it that way, anyways.

General Software Discussion / Re: moving data from desktop to laptop
« Last post by Ath on May 06, 2015, 03:22 AM »
I do not see that there is anything preventing the user from removing the hard drive from the old PC, connecting said drive to a suitable drive carrier, and plugging the latter as a peripheral device, into (say) a USB port on the laptop.
Lacking technical skills perhaps? Or maybe bravery ;D
