^ I tend to work intuitively :-[ **

I did try a right-click, but only on the titlebar -- which of course was a waste of time. (I think I got disorientated cause the window is so small.)

** my intuitive approach can be helpful though finding bugs :-)

I uninstall any process given in the list above.
I don't think about the nvidia drivers just because the recent installations os sysinternals desktops. when I change to a new desktop in this program the "ghost program" dissappear.

because of the language barrier Contro, it is best to keep statements simple and very clear:

what exactly did you uninstall?

Salve, all!  Okay, I've added a user-chosen global hotkey.  Maybe someone can try it out for me?

Win.7 x64

right-clicking the tray icon shows:
Global Hotkey              Not set
=>
I clicking that a couple of times, in the hope I could change it, but nothing happens. Now calculor no longer responds to mouse input:
also unable to close via [x]
=>
I close it via tray:
on restarting is fine - I click on 'Global Hotkey' and the dialogue shows.
I set hotkey and it works fine.

Captures are delayed and repeat the first shot again and again.
-Doug Eldridge (August 14, 2017, 09:03 PM)
hi Doug,
what exactly do you mean when you say 'repeat the first shot again and again' ?

I did turn off the url option.  Doesn't help.
-Doug Eldridge (August 14, 2017, 09:03 PM)
mouser can probably fix this problem,
but you'll need to answer the other questions too:
Let me ask some questions:
  • Are you using latest version?
  • Is it only Firefox that is delayed?
  • What mode of capture are you using? (full workspace, active window, etc.)
  • If you do repeated captures is it only the first one that has the delay?
(I numbered them for ease of answering)

As long as I can remember the three or more point are for a configurable desktops program. I think is from Microsoft.
What makes you think so? And what did you do to obtain them, as nobody in this thread knows them or how to enable them, and we're (nearly) all experienced Windows users

I presume that's the Sysinternals one linked earlier - in which case:
Contro, why not uninstall that?

I visited their website and placed an item in their cart, and no discount was applied.

Is there a code to use?

when I go there, the discount is already applied on the main shop page (linked above):

is that not the case for you?

1487 copies are still available...
-right "now"
yeah,
it's not clear whether that means: copies of the additional anti-virus offer, or products sold [& then the 40% ends?].

They do clearly say:
Until Sunday, we give you a 40% discount on all products
so,
apart from the vagueness of 'until Sunday', it sound like it should be 40% off until then.

Wow Tomos, a view like that makes me jealous!
it doesnt happen that often, but is magic:
having a better camera helps with the pics - but the mother was rooting around just a few yards from the window.

Yum - Deer.
lol,
I hadn't heard of Muntjac deer before - interesting, wikipedia says they've reached Ireland now as well.

Life Journal Diary. There is a lot of software for that.....
I am using phisycal cards and revising often. If I fail I have to know why.....

Contro, can you explain how you are using cards?
Is it to keep a record of habits?
(Also curious how you revise them.)

and a not-as-good picture (both taken through glass with reflections) of her fawn who mostly just stood there while its mother rooted around (maybe it's still drinking milk)

oddly, it's almost three minutes out by my clock here, which I'm just after syncing with time.nist.gov

What if you use pool.ntp.org ?

It'll pick the closest to your location, I've got a 8-10 second delay between system and what that site shows.

I thought at some point someone mentioned a util that did something with the system clock, (measured the delay?) ?
@Miles when he was having trouble syncing to the college LAN or something?

EDIT: Here it is: One Shot System Time Sync

For those interested this command line worked for me:
htpdate www.timeanddate.com  set

I didnt download anything, but notice that that site, that Miles quotes, is twenty seconds behind the other site I linked to above (https://24timezones.com/#/map)
on my laptop I was ~ five minutes out:
after syncing with pool.ntp.org, I am now exactly synced with the www.timeanddate.com site

EDIT//PS I like windows phone/s too :-* :P

^ okay, so you weren't ripped off ;D (I didnt honestly think that would have been the case)
thanks for the background

In the photo of both together, I'd prefer the look of Alice, but that's probably mainly down to the lights and handlebars. (But the other bike has a lot of character too, and they look great together.)

I'm learning some lingo here as well e.g. bagger, Shovelhead enginew.
May as well give your link while I'm at it

Nirsoft just released TimeZonesView:  http://www.nirsoft.n...time_zones_view.html

Does that do what you want?

that's another very good one -- it does do what I want:
when someone says/writes that xyz is at 9:30, say, Eastern Time, or Pacific Standard Time, I can sort by timezone and see what time they are now.
Thanks Skwire

EDIT//
which I probably didnt well explain in OP:
  • most times are given as a being in a particular timezone
  • most 'time' websites offer the time in such-and-such a city (with no description of the actual timezone)
So TimeZonesView hits the spot

I forgot to mention Chapter 2 is now done, and I'm working on chapter 3.

hope this not an awkward question:
how come your brother got a good functioning 1985 bike for 3,500 and yours, 1981, cost 3,000 and required a lot of work?
Is is the year, or are there other differences I'm misisng?

(Keep in mind I know nest to nothing about bikes)

Changing habits, or finding out what's stopping us changing them, can be a life journey..

If it is beyond the scope of the website or available programmers please accept my apologies.

things are very casual here: it never hurts to ask.
I get the impression most people who do code here are doing it for fun, for a break from the heavy stuff at work.

they give me the shrunken versions and I try to make them look nice.
yeah,
and then I give them to someone like you who
take some 0s and 1s and stick them on paper
although -- no,
I give them to someone who arranges all those 0's and 1's and other 0's and 1's according to how someone else wants,
and then it goes to you.

PS I havent figured out your last one yet...

hmmm,
this may seem pretty esoteric, but it is difficult to explain anyways, and I want to make y'all work a bit ;-)

some people root around in the ground and try to shrink what they see -- they give me the shrunken versions and I try to make them look nice.
