Well I guess I will be negative about this issue then. Seriously everyother software on the market offers list view change including free ones. For example thumbnail view is crucial for images-photos. The reason I would pay for an explorer is that it would offer convenient solution to me. I guess not this time

Well I have over 600 text files. I doubt I can manually add certain characters to certain lines.

I will check out those files you have mentioned to figure it out. I am serious about testing it because I like relational graphing feature that I have wanted to have for sometime for my notes.

I was not just talking about Usa. There are 6 billion other people and numerous nations on earth. Once these practices become a norm around the globe then you will see what I mean. Since you are an american citizen you think that you are immune from those practices which is fine. I hope that one day you wont find yourself in an embarrassing situation in another country.

I think that Deozaan has already answered your second question. On the other hand comparing  confiscation of personal-business financial-project data to confiscation of a bottle of liquor is utter craziness I would say.

It sounds like mankind has just wasted last 300 years of path to democracy. It is also sad to see that some people would be blindly happy to bring middle ages back in the name of freedom and soverign nation concept.

Btw we are not talking about "search", we are talking about confiscating people`s laptops and their content. So I think that that was another spin.

The problem with downloading content of the laptop is that the content is digital so it can be copied-modified multiple times. It is not like  border agent takes your passport and runs couple of checks and gives it back to you. Maybe you do not see any problem but some of us have project files (copyrighted material), files that are under ndas and contents that are protected by laws. It would be illegal for anyone to let another person to see those files related to company financial details or project details etc. But it sounds like you are ok with goverment fascisming regarding this matter. 

This matter is can of worms that is why it should be regulated properly(maybe even by an international body). You cannot just let some border agent to stop anyone they want and download their laptop data.

Do you mean that you are fine with some country unlawfully(without a search warrant and evidence) detaining an american citizen, confisacting their computer and downloading whole content of her/his laptop to their system  at their border ?

These parameters will let you successfully browse any drive you want, jst add the drive as in c:\. I just created special alias for this and works beautifully, you can even browse folders inside farr by using arrow keys

Great to hear that. Btw while I have you here, you may need to think about importing features. I(or someone else) might like to try your software with their existing data. I have a lot of text files(luckily) but it seems like there is no way to bring them to your app.

Ron I have just tried your software yesterday. I think that it is very promising, it has graphing capabilities which is great for note taking app. However my only disappointment(expectation) was lack of file drag and drop to node tree.  Also any text that is draggable throughout  the operation system should be used to create notes when it is dragged to PMM. For example if I drag some text from firefox to node(notes) tree, PMM should be able to create a note automatically and probably use first couple of the text as the name or it could offer it as a name.

Anyways keep up the great work I will try it little more.

I think Freemind is a rock solid application. I have been using it for 5 years. It is an amazingly simple but powerful software. I have used it for note taking, project management,
bookmarking, task management, resource collection etc.

A couple of these look interesting.

I also think “FreeMind” looks good and it seems to have been recently upgraded. One guy says it is stable, simple and elegant.

another possibility is you can create a custom alias group with your favorite commands, and have it shown when farr comes up.

Well one more thing is that when you have alot of plugins and aliases it is hard to remember all the aliases instantly. This is one way to quickly access to seldom used aliases and plugins

I do not type anything to kill a process? Pkill gives you list of running processes, I just double click to kill any process.

Now that they have behaviour cops at the airports anything is possible. So they can detain you even without any real evidence. I personally think that societies are too stupid to understand what is going on here.
