07-20-17 Clouds on the mountain 2.jpg

Another view of those mountains. I had to put it in a separate post because of the size of the panoramas.

Unfortunately, a second look shows some fire still there. I hope they get rid of that.

Clouds on the mountain, not smoke. The monsoon rains doused the fire again.

Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" is popular in Arab countries also. They call it the "Ode to Oil".
Vegetarian version is "Ode to Soy".
Santa Claus' version is  "Ode to Toys".
North Vietnamese sing "Ode to Hanoi".

Cazes was found dead, hanged in his Thai jail cell.

How convenient for the Thai government.

Imaginary (Complex) Number i Poster.jpg

Imaginary (Complex) Number i

A giant hoax, foolish media, college football and sex (or lack thereof): the Manti Te'o story has all the elements for late night comedy gold. And Thursday night, various hosts were happy to start mining.

All across the TV dial, comedians were cracking jokes at the incredible story of the Notre Dame star with the fake girlfriend.

"In his defense, Brent Musberger said that she was really hot," Letterman cracked, referencing the ogling the college football announcer did of the Alabama quarterback's girlfriend during the National Championship game. "I feel bad for the kid, because when I was in college, stuff like that would happen. I would meet a lot of women, and they would give me imaginary phone numbers. And then one time, it was really sad, a beautiful woman actually faked her death to get out of going to the prom with me."

20 stunning dresses made of chocolate

Who would want a dress you have to keep in the refrigerator and can only wear for a limited amount of time? Plus, you have to worry about the other people there eating you naked. A chocolate dress is an disaster looking for a place to happen. Lady Gaga might buy one, but who else?

This is Carson's starting point. If you want to manipulate Bitcoin value, he told SecurityWeek, you cause a sudden increase in the number of users. This is most easily measured by the number of Bitcoin wallets in existence. A global ransomware outbreak, demanding payment by Bitcoin, would certainly have such an effect: both direct victims and judicious organizations are likely to obtain wallets.

But they should have made it possible to restore the files. This way ruins the method for future use because it is obvious that ransom is not the primary goal.

In previous versions of “similar” ransomware like Petya/Mischa/GoldenEye, this installation ID contains crucial information for the key recovery. After sending this information to the attacker they can extract the decryption key using their private key
