As far as sending twitter we do not need a plugin I think since we do not need any special interface. But maybe a plugin can be used to check followers, followeds on top of sending and getting messages.

The only problem with alias is that password is not encrypted.

I have no idea why it is happening this way. Is there any way to find it out? It was working fine. I just restarted my computer and getting very bad farr plugin window performance.

Maybe someone can create "auto alias" plugin which would go through desktop and start programs and create aliases for installed shortcuts. So for newbie users that would make things faster.

It is all about the defaults that come with the app. You know Farr can beat launchy or any other on  that list so easily on any day.

-Right click-> copy path and add rule to this item
-Multiple hotkeys
-Embedded launcherbar-toolbar. Please do not overlooked this one, it is very helpful. Also you can drag and drop from the Farr results
-Easy directory-folder browsing
-Smart directory folder browsing (aka c:\pro\com brings c:\Program files\Common Files)
-Launching history
-Previous search history

I think that it would be beneficial to make youtube videos alongside help files.

I really think that Farr is very very nicely designed and optimized software. It achieves so much with so little. Many other apps would need additional plugins for what Farr does by default with minimal design.

I personally read help file of every program I use. I have found Farr`s help file not indepth but good enough to start using some advanced stuff. To me the most overlooked part of help file was regex stuff and predefined keywords like %date% %time%. I would like to see whole list of those kinds of keywords for example.

Maybe there is a wiki but we can start a slow Farr wiki maybe.

I used Launchy for 2 years. Launchy is slightly comparable to Farr in my opinion. But Farr offers many more options. One reason launchy may get the votes because its probably easier to use and indexing may make it look like it is faster. In the end it is popular voting not technical.

I want to run multiple commands, apps, or docs with onyl one alias

For example I want myalias to run all those lines below all together

-do search *.cfg
-notepad.exe
-goto www.yahoo.com

any ideas?
