You tried this. I found it good. But just have to see if it works on DevC++ and codebl;ocks. On VC ++2008 it works fine,.

Doubt it. These sites are often designed for those who already know enough to avoid these security problems.

Such scraper sites with adsense/adbrite/adigy on them are even featured on google results, i don't understand how can google give us results of such sites.

I think services mentioned below can be used to take these sites down.

# Phishtank (another opendns sister project)
# Web of Trust (Firefox plugin available)

BTW good job for pointing it out, Scannie

Some of my suggestions :

- Can we setup payment systems like Western union or other payment transfers etc.
(As many members like me don't have credit card so can't donate via paypal etc)

- Other paypal, other modes of online payment transfer like ebookie,Alertpay,Stormpay should be considered.

Other than that Fundraiser banner is good idea. I've seen similar banner on wikipedia.

Agree Chris. But i don't understand why people in most SEO blogs and Forums ask us to stay away from bad neighborhood and link farms. :tellme:

I agree with app103 on point of bad neighborhood especially when you're on shared hosting. Your PR drops if you're part of them.

Just for the info.
One more thing is you can use this site for submission of your blog/site. And let me remind you look at those directories carefully if these directories are jsut part of scraper sites and ad patched directories then maybe you shouldn't submit to such locations. You can start with directories having PR 3 and above, skip PR0-PR2 directories for now. Make sure you submit your blog/site at correct category.

Hi Joto, :)

Good to see you back on forums.

You can send email Daniel scoco of Dailyblogtips.com for advice and pointers. As he is author DomainSales related Book. Lot of folks from Sitepoint can help you on that as well. One of my friend sold his TLD with advice from sitepoint. There are plenty of folks out there doing business of Domain sales and Blog flipping. Alternatively you can try Digitalpoint for sales but don't expect advice/poitnes from members at digitalpoint.

I don't know about you guys. But i can see Microsoft trying to catch up with Google by offering "pay per search" to users in US/Canada. They're trying their best to attract more search users with paid searching and rewards program (Note: that program is for IE users as it installs plugin on IE and rewards are only for US/Canada users right now.)

Here is an Enhancement request.  ;)

As Most of us have apps and have some "apps section" in forums. So if the link to that section is created on Profile as "Apps"(It can be placed above the Member Map or near other links). That will be better. We can even add single link to "apps section" icon near Avatar. That will avoid adding more and more icons to avatar. We'll only reserve icons for contests/event etc.

Some of the reasons for pagerank drop:

- Websites inbound links are less and outbound links are linking to either spam or scraper sites
- Site sells "text links" which is not allowed by google
- Content is updated rarely and no new sites are linking to it
- Site is used by spammers in their comments

and many more reasons like this. As I'm tracking some SEO blogs so i came up with this few reasons for hurting SERP reputation and pagerank.

MS is hitting shot in the dark with some gadgets.

BlackBerry I don't think Microsoft have any alternative to beat this one.
Bluetooth Partly agree.
TiVo --------
Apple's MacBook Air Oh yeah, MS is bad mouthing about it as many A-list blogger switched to AIR.
iPod accessories So in that case, Zune got excellent accessories?  lol :D
Linux Aah, if so then why bother to fund for Mono? Your apps can run on Windows & Apple. Why fund for Mono? :P Why sponsored "heroes happen here"? Why "Codeplex"?  ;)

On point of SmallBASIC, is there any way i can takeaway .NET Framework to Offline computer? (I can download on another computer & use Pendrive/DVD to take it to another comp, but i don't see any download link that allows this as one download link only for perticular comp)

What about JustBASIC, SmallBASIC & GAMBASS ? There are other freeware versions of BASIC, you can take a look at Wikpedia's BASIC page.
