Geez... Even if same situations happen all the time I can't still simply believe how someones stupid fears can grow and rule other people's minds. And the biggest opponent is not even physician. I thought there is no one more ridiculous than people trying to push in into already filled space (i.e. train) before anyone leaves BUT I was wrong  :o

Maybe those walls are not the matter of your eyes but "how much do you care?".

Personally: I scored 0 points but I would never see hairstyle change on woman's head until complete baldness ;)

Maybe consider one of these two solutions:

1. FlashFolder:

2. FavMenu:

Podcast Radio Show / Re: Requesting Ideas for DonationCoder Podcast #7

Just a comment, unless you want 11khz mono 16kbps mp3, i'll have to step down if we're doing the realtime approach. Segments for me please.
Is this "11kHz..." limitation of TS or did I misunderstand something?

I will cross my fingers for this idea. Maybe it will even bit Channel9 from Microsoft ;)

BTW 15-20 minutes might be not enough for hot discussions IMHO.

I am not much familiar but maybe using TeamSpeak for meeting could be efficient? IIRC it works pretty well for multi-user chats but I don't know is it possible to record those.
In worst case scenario: you can just redirect your sound card's output to input (simple jack-jack cable) ;)

Thank you for a hint 8)

It will definitely join other GUI related bookmarks as:

The only thing that makes me worried with activation is:
will they allow me to do it when their support will end? How long will it be possible to activate my WinXP?

Teoritically it should be possible to run XP without activation for couple of days but last time I had made an installation it couldn't run without. I had to call some robot and input strange numbers to make everything work. I can't imagine myself to use pirate version because of that. And, after all, I paid my month salary for CD.

Your words reminded me a story about NASA's research for ballpoint able to write upside down (in space) while Russians used to use simple pencils ;)

PS. Recently I am going to much off topic... sorry.

It would be great idea for Japanese anime:
1. they create Dark Matter,
2. it is starting to extend by itself,
3. ...
4. demons, slaughter and don't forget big robots ;)

Well, as I've told you tomorrow: you're overreacting LHC thing.

I agree with you completely.

Short after takeover their tools dropped support for Win 9x and became to grow larger and larger.

Long time ago I've used to use X-fonter (http://www.blacksuns...are.com/xfonter.html).

It was the best free tool which allowed to see non-installed fonts and search using custom filters rules.
The last free version can be downloaded here:
http://www.aplusfree.../util/fonttools.html

Currently I don't need such tool and I am using Total Commander's lister plugin for easy fonts preview.

We know about Chrome now but what about GoogleUpdate.exe? This guy is not open sourced.
Google is against me because I cannot find an info what data this app sends ;)

This makes me wonder:

You would be so vociferous (I didn't know that word) on my place: used to live in small town, everybody knows everyone and you're having long hairs 8) Not hard to find ya. With such "burden" you can really appreciate the need for privacy. And even if you've got extravert nature, you want to have a tiny part of you for yourself only. How can you do that if so many people are allowed to x-ray you? That mob is big enough to be worried about. There is no need for additional viewers for your own "Mouser Show" (with Jim C. as main character) :D

Good post kartal!

We should also remember that being paranoid we can expect that online storage might be not secure in real life. The problem appears when it comes to something closer to us - what we haven't think about. If someone will come to my house he/she can expect that I will know about toilet paper that person used or does he/she clean hands after "an urge" but if I try to put my fingers into someone's wallet it will stop being OK. It's obvious that placing a bug in purse/bag will be not acceptable. And that is the main reason of all concerns from my side. Maybe it's just a matter of the trust while inviting someone (hope they will not stab me in the back) but history can learn us that many good ideas ended up horrible. We can all discuss about ideal nation in Plato's meaning or loving your foe but as good we can watch how the grass grow ;)

I agree with most of your words.

There's no privacy when walking on public streets? If so, then it should be perfectly legal to plant hidden cameras on the ground to pick up scenes under ladies' skirts.

The only thing the government might do is to yell that it might help on fighting with terrorism, paedophiles, knives or racism (or maybe for everybody's sake).

EOT from my side.  DC is not a place for politics ;)

When I am using G or MS online services I can expect such restrictions. Also when I am walking down the street I know that someone might observe me or follow. Someone can even record me on CCTV. Hopefully: my home is my castle. No one should even dare to sneak inside. The only thing which might happen is observing me through my window BUT not from the inside. If I invite you I don't expect installing candid camera in my bathroom too.

It should be simple and work both ways:
My place == my rules. Take it or leave it.

I am not saying that Google is but might. At least some users explains bugs (or protect authors) using this as an excuse.

Maybe it is strange but I feel that I can trust any application with "final" or "stable" suffixes and be sure that authors guarantee some level of professionalism. In the case of beta I can only stay aware that something bad might always happen because no one holds responsibility at all. I am not trying to be like "Google sucks, lol haxorz!!11oneoneone" but I want to point out something strange behind it.

Why, after few years of development, they can't just publish something stable? Does it not make you wander?

Edited
How can "beta" be mentioned in help only if everytime as I go to google.com I can see "New! Download Chrome (BETA) - the new browser from Google" message?
1099
That's just a philosophy thing: Gmail for example may still be marked as a beta, but it's actively developed and  works pretty well, doesn't it?
What philosophy thing? Not having the guts to give final release? Blaming everything for magic word?

What if someday GMail will drop millions of e-mails? Will it be OK to hear: "Sorry but this is only beta"?

There is some well known sentence to describe it:
"You can recognize real man not by looking how he starts but how he ends things up".

I haven't tested but I suppose that "Raff has cooked up a harmless demo of the attack in action, showing how a Google Chrome users can be lured into downloading and launching a JAR (Java Archive) file that gets executed without warning." might also mean that browser will download it without your knowledge.

This "flaw" is available because Google used old WebKit without checking it's bugs (probably the last part).
