IMAP, all the messages exist and are managed directly on the server. This means that if a user move a message to a different folder, replies to or deletes messages, or anything else, everyone who subscribes to that IMAP account in their email client will always be in the loop.

  would'nt it be nice then to have an imap email client where if you tag mail, it would be reflected in gmail

I currently tag stuff in Thunderbird (for what it's worth) & have some filters setup in gmail,
but basically everything gets archived when downloaded to client

Brandon,
which version would you recommend for someone who barely knows what an exe file is ?!
(I will be able to help out - on the phone though)

I guess I'm wondering whether to go for the Beta or not?
It's for my sister who knowing her probably wont get to download it for a while,
by which time you probably have another 20 updates out (or maybe not - I read you got to study a bit as well..)
So,
in general would you recommend the stable version or.. ?

You can download the sample database from the www.sqlnotes.net or read the same info on the SQLNotes web site.

You can also, put it back in by simply drag-dropping the web-site content to the HTML editing pane. That's how it was created in the first place!

I think Germans can be a bit stoic when they dont know you - prob depends where they from too -
Saarlanders have a reputation for humour & friendliness,
here in Pfalz I find people very friendly if you talk to them. Maybe they're a bit reserved otherwise 
Once I visited Köln (just for a day) & everyone I met was really friendly & cracking jokes - they deserve their witty/humerous reputation

And, funny, I only miss Ireland when I'm in Ireland - good sign

eg:

    I used the Security Task Manager to quarantine many services especially many of Intel PROSet/Wireless services. I found that I can disable following services and still get the wireless to work using Windows Wireless Zero Configure (not the strange Intel App)

    mEoU.msi
    mCore
    igfxTray Module

    I also disabled all RealTek Audio utility services..

    well.. I can now begin to hibernate for at least 3 times now continuously..

    If this can really solve the problem, I suggest everyone who already apply the hotfix and didn’t get the problem solved to start looking at your services and disable all unnecessary memory hungers.

    I will continue to report if this is one of the solution..

with 2GB of ram & for some reason the pagefile wasnt being accessed (I believe that was the problem)
I couldnt go into hibernation with FF + 40tabs open.
dunno did it say "not enough resources" or "not enough virtual resources to .... your API"
apologies about the vagueness of text

but it's sorted now...

a bit off topic but that wasnt sorted (just pretended to be for a while...)
error was (when going into hibernation):

"Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API"

is related to xp sp2 struggling with too much memory (odd reaction though!)

I've never indulged in multibooting,
but when setting up partitions & windows xp install lately
someone suggested making a hidden partition that I could possibly use later for multibooting (so I did)

I see you do have XP on a logical drive ?!?

In DOpus:

It's definitely not hardlinks - cause the folder doesnt actually exist anywhere -
you cant create subfolders -
e.g.
say you have a virtual folder "ABC", containing folders 1, 2, & 3:
you cant make a new folder in ABC & drag 1 2 & 3 into it. Cant make the subfolder atall.

It's more comparable to a tagging system really 

Also you cant add files to the root collection(virtual) folder

it's just a virtual containing folder

I feel the need to correct you a bit, as you are not correct in all of what you are saying. You can create as many subfolders as you'd like in a virtual folder, and move them around as you see fit. The only thing that could prevent you from handling them pretty much like folders on a real filesystem is if you create them as "members" instead of "sub-collections"

after the unpredictability of hard-links I gave up - have new computer now but havent tried hard links yet.
Could give it a go again...

I managed to make the getting started documentation disappear



I right clicked in lower pane & selected browse view &, well, it disappeared

anyone got any tips for how to get it back -
should have read it first, huh? 

EDIT: restart doesnt bring it back or any of those buttons dont seem to help
it is now in browser mode - context menu seems to be same as Firefox
