That would be nice and yes I have the autoshrink option disabled. Thanks for the update, phitsc.I guess it would but obviously only if using FARR with the auto-shrink option disabled. Is that how you're using it?
Thanks for horizontal resizing. Would it be possible to also add vertical resizing?-rbeeger (May 10, 2009, 06:12 AM)-phitsc (May 10, 2009, 09:06 AM)
Please fix this or maybe provide some settings where one can specify that the window should be centered and what size or even better which margins to the sides of the screen it should have. The last one would in fact be much better as FARR would nicely adjust itself to changing screen resolutions. For centering you could use my FarrMultiMonitor (and center) plugin: https://www.donation....msg117762#msg117762-rbeeger (January 07, 2009, 08:36 AM)
That wouldn't solve your other problem however...-phitsc (January 07, 2009, 03:22 PM)
rbeeger: I have changed it.Nice. Thanks.
BTW: you can easily change & to anything you wish by changing enter = "&" (3rd line) in fscript.py-czechboy (April 25, 2008, 04:53 AM)
Would it be possible to have only the main FARR window skinned? I love the skin, but seeing the rest of the FARR windows skinned (especially when you call Windows "Open" dialog) turns me off.-Lashiec (February 29, 2008, 09:18 AM)
This skin is really slick.
One idea to make it even more minimal: add an option to make the "help" and "options" icons normally invisible but visible when the mouse pointer is held over them.
edit:
It could be even more minimal if there is some way to make the horizontal dividing lines between the input box and the match list and between the match list and status bar invisible. And remove the black border for the FARR window.
It would be really cool if it was possible to through the above and through transparency minimize the GUI so that it on launch only displays a blinking caret somewhere on the screen, waiting for input!BTW, is there some way to make the caret itself more bold? I have set "Arial bold 14" for the input box and the caret looks a bit to thin in comparison to the typed characters.

I made a version that tell FARR to not launch url :The archive seems to be corrupted. It's also much bigger than the previous ones (451 KB instead of 94KB)

I didn't mean to criticize your del.icio.us plugin. I realized that it was only a simple example for your SDK, which is by itself a great thing. And I think that an advanced del.icio.us plugin could be written with JavaScript and FScript. So it's all more praise for FScript than criticism for the del.icio.us example.it will never be able to search all delicious bookmarks of an accountYes you are right. Only the last links are in the rss feed. The del.icio.us plugin does not allow to search all the archived link. Del.icio.us has an export fonctionnality that I may be able to use, but it is html and I would have to parse it with regex and combine that with the last results from rss.
I really wanted to get fscript out. Del.icio.us plugin was really meant as a sample for it.-ecaradec (December 24, 2007, 04:54 AM)
That's correct. Plugins would be created that would require additional software to be installed. But I don't think that's really a problem. As a user you could choose the language you like for developing plugins. So it would be possible for many more people to write specialized plugins. FARR would become really customizable. I think many Ruby and Groovy people would try FARR if they could script it with their language of choice.would it be possible to create a version of it that would work with any scripting language that integrates with it (Ruby, Perl, Groovy etc.)?Yes I could, but I don't know if its a good idea since ruby, perl, etc... are not installed by default with Windows and plugins would require installing another language to run. But its easy to do.-ecaradec (December 24, 2007, 04:54 AM)
looks like it might be a skin issue..
one solution is to go to FARR options, and switch to "Plugins, Updates, Fonts" tab, and check the "Override default font settings" and put in custom values for result height, etc.-mouser (December 19, 2007, 04:05 PM)
