How can I configure SC so that it will not capture the area surrounding the active window. I just want to capture the active window and its frame but nothing outside the active window's frame. Thanks.

I restarted Screenshot Captor after testing the PrtSc key and now everything works. My apologies. I should have tried the standard "turn it off turn it on" fix before posting.

Yes, PrtSc works as expected if Screenshot Captor is not running.

Sorry to disappoint but I am not that dumb. :) Yes, Screenshot Captor is alive and well and running in the system tray. If I use the capture bar everything works as expected. The only problem I have found so far is that the PrtSc key does nothing. Thanks for the reply.

I am a new user running Win 7 Pro 64 bit on a Lenovo W530 laptop. Neither PrtSc or Alt+PrtSc causes the screen to be captured. I have also tried Fn+PrtSc and Fn+Alt+PrtSc. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
