surely it can be fixed.. as a temporary workaround, you can switch between 2 ways of capturing regions in the options, you might try the other way to see if that works.

can you clarify what happens with those programs you have listed? does the cursor let you try to select the region to capture at least? or does it automatically go right to full screen capture?

No the cursor does not let me select the region.

My clipboard software captures a full screen shot.

The capture does not even appear in the Screenshot Captor interface.

So if not for my clipboard software it would seem like nothing was even happening.

I hope I explained this ok

Screenshot Captor / Can't capture some software windows when in focus!

I am using the latest Screenshot Captor version v2.55.01 on Windows 7 RC Build 7127

In testing I found out that Screenshot Captor can not take a screen capture using "Selected Region" with several software programs that I use when their window has focus. Instead it captures the full screen

I tried Snagit! and it had no problem capturing all 3 windows when they were in fous.

Can this be fixed?
