Dear All,

I would like to thank all of you for the suggestions.  DShutdown, suggested by KenR was the one that worked on my system.  The rest of them had an issue that I could not identify.  Now I can save some electricity by shutting down my system when I go to sleep - small steps to help our environment!!!

Hi lanux128,

I did download the Sweetdreams program and run it yesterday.  I found that the volume got reduced, as per the setting but the system did not shutdown as expected.  The program worked only partially.  Could you suggest to me any other option?  I have Windows XP professional Service Pack 2 on my system.

Dear Mouser,

I should thank you for your Fantastic Mindblowing efforts in developing the ScreenshotCaptor program.  I use this program and find it very useful, especially since it is a .exe file which does not need any installation.  I have a small request.  In the Text Box option, we only have option to Horizontally Center Text (other options are right, left & justified).  However an additional option to center the text vertically too would be greatly helpful.  This will allow the users to position the Text in the center of the Text Box which will make it look very presentable.  I request you to consider this facility in your next upgrade.
