... imagine our hosting service provider suddenly goes belly-up; mouser in a fit of anger kicks his cpu, short-circuiting his psu, which explodes, immediately bringing his hdds with forum backup files to six feet under - we will still have DC.

hehehe, that's coz u accidentally restricted searching to the board of "Post New Requests Here". Return to forum board index and try again.

I'll have school final exams on 5th, 18th, 19th and 20th. , so I guess I won't be able to resume coding smf search in 2 wks.

In the meanwhile for those who are interested, give my very primitive demo a try:

The demo (just a demo) searches a bit outdated copy of DC database (May 12 2007) but it will serve.

Hopefully the new search will be integrated into DC forum search without substantially modifying the existing interface.

I'd love to have your bug reports/feature requests here.

btw, since i use Firefox, i normally search with app's search plugin.. also, good luck on your final exams..
