Hide empty folders
« on: August 29, 2006, 10:55 PM »
mouser, why not put in an option to hide a folder if it has no contents, instead of show an empty link.. this will be useful in cutting down the clutter. also how about asking LC not to refresh if there is no change after viewing the preferences. all those jumping windows make me bleary.. ;)

it's not quite as simple as it seems since lbc doesnt fill menus of folders until they are requested, to minimize resource use - so it generall doesnt know a folder is empy until you click on it.

mouser. revisiting this topic..

the option "Hide missing files" is very useful when dealing with removable drives.. but if there are broken shortcuts in fixed drives, how about a small pop-up balloon/dialog to show which ones are broken? or maybe indicate via icons..

also how about asking LC not to refresh if there is no change after viewing the preferences.
can this also be implemented?
