How to hide automatic screenshotter?
« on: April 17, 2018, 01:03 AM »
Please, help me how to hide automatic screenshotter window at startup?

I try all, but everytime at pc start automatic screenshotter window is shown on screen. The only way to hide it is to click on file->exit. But this stops program to make screenshots.

I really don't understand: How to spy someone with this software when program window is always shown???

Yes, start with windows and Start minimized are checked, "show tray icon" is on NEVER. May be I must use standard version? I use now portable version.

P.S. I speak about this window - see screen.

Portable version should be exactly the same, and yes that window should not be shown if the start minimized option is set.

Thanks for your answer. Should not be shown, but is shown  :(

Close button (X on right) only minimize program in tray, the only way to hide window is to click on file-exit. But after this program stop. The question is: how to hide this window without to stop program?

I am with admin user rightsC, on WIN7.

Can you explain what you are saying.  It minimizes to tray -- so the window disapears from screen, yes?

Disapears from screen, yes, but stay visible in taskbar. I have added screenshots in this post to explain - step 1, step 2, step 3.

ok, and is this what you meant about  it being "visible" at startup too? not main window but in task bar?

does it have same behavior is you launch it yourself instead of having it automatically start at windows startup?

Yes, this is what I mean about "visible" at startup - window is shown after every PC restart. Tested on 3 Pc in my office - 2 with windows 7, one with Vista.

you mean the task bar thing is visible at bottom -- the actual window on screen is not, correct?

Yes. The question is how to hide program completely.

If it's showing in the taskbar even when it is minimized, that is a bug -- I will look into it.
I'm just trying to make sure I am understanding you because when you keep saying the "window is shown" I need to make sure you don't mean the actual window but rather just the taskbar button.
Anyone else have this issue? What version of windows are you using?
Do you have this same problem with my other apps, like Screenshot Captor?

This program is not for spying on people, that is why there is no option to hide the tray icon.  This program is for keeping track of your own activities.

1. Yes, I'm sure, this is the actual window, not the taskbar button. Test the program and you will see what I mean.
2. Tested on 3 PC with WIN7 and Vista (2 desktop computers and one Asus laptop), with and without "run as administrator" - the same thing. Latest version of automatic screenshotter, downloaded today.
3. I'm not using any of your other apps, but will test it for sure. Thank you very much for your work

P.S. I'm not spying on people, but productivity of some of my workers decrease and i try to find why  :(

PaulinaDi,

I found below,

Invisibly monitors employee desktops & records activities
https://www.nucleust...top-live-viewer.html, not free.

At DC we do not make such apps, AFAIK, i.e. privacy tracking of others. But yes, such apps does exist and have reason for it. I think if you officially announce and install apps similar to this on all your workers computer, your workers will be more alert and yes you may have to make surprise rounds too.

I work in an organization, where daily work reporting is done to check on productivity.

Regards,

Anand
