Feature request: sticky capture
« on: December 11, 2012, 08:06 AM »
I apologise if this feature is already in the product and I haven't spotted it...
CaptureWiz has an ouput option 'Sticky' which creates a floating copy of the capture as a 'sticky note'. I use this all the time as a sort of temporary notebook of bits and pieces I want to refer to.

that's a clever little idea.. I'll put it on the todo list.. seems easy enough to add and a useful feature.

i will note however that you could easily make a little tool in sc that opened the last image in a small standalone image viewer like "irfanview", which would serve nearly the same function.

I'd second it as a good idea. I don't think any of the capture apps I use, can do this and it is definitely something I would use if they did.

Though I've just realised I can achieve the same effect by using a Note app (eg TreeDBNotes, SilverNote) to take the screenshot and then view those notes in external windows.
